After seeing the 2014 movie Frank by Lenny Abrahamson, I found this movie by scrolling down the IMDb list. It seemed interesting, and I was into another weird film, and in that aspect this movie did definitely not disappoint.
I don't want to spoil the way Frank makes new friends, but you have to be prepared for some disturbing and gross imagery. However, it brings an interesting view into Frank's insanity. As damaged as our protagonist is, you will start rooting for him, as he is quite likable and kind.
The cinematography managed to take me by surprise every once in a while with its creative camera angles and close-ups. Also the end of the movie connects many of the seemingly random events, and shows how they were a part of Frank's character development. This makes for a satisfying watching experience, as Frank's emotions are reflected upon the viewer.
All in all, I recommend you to see this movie. It deserves a lot more recognition than it currently has, at a couple dozen ratings. You can easily find the whole movie underneath a critic review, linked on this site.
