Amanda has a picture of her father in USAF pilot gear alongside post 1991 master sergeant stripes with a first sergeant diamond. She tells a story that he was a pilot. The USAF has not had enlisted pilots since WW2 and the last of those retired in the 50's. Her father couldn't have been a master sergeant and be a military aircraft pilot.
