Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Martin Freeman, Michael B. Jordan, Andy Serkis, Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong'o, Daniel Kaluuya, and Letitia Wright in Black Panther (2018)

Crazy credits

Black Panther

Edit

SPOILER: There is a scene at the end of the closing credits: Shuri meets a convalescent Bucky Barnes. This leads into Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

There is a scene in the closing credits: T'Challa appears at the UN Council and proclaims to make the world a better place, following his father's actions.

The Wakanda fairytale prologue and part of the closing credits are a sequence of Wakandan nanite displays.

Each credit in the closing credits has a different image to represent the cast/crew's role in the film.

The film title and the main cast/crew have their credits briefly appear in Wakandan script before changing to English.

The main credits for the people of Wakanda are colored according to the tribe:

  • the cast credits for the members of the Wakandan royal family are in purple/gold, the royal colors.
  • Forest Whitaker's credit is in purple, as befits Zuri's role as adviser to the royal family.
  • Lupita Nyong'o's credit is shaded green, the River Tribe color.
  • Danai Gurira's credit is shaded red, the Dora Milaje color.
  • Daniel Kaluuya's credit is shaded blue, the Border Tribe color.
  • Winston Duke's credit is represented by an ape face, since the Jabari have no tribe color.

Other than the Marvel Studios title card, there are no opening credits. The film also does not show the film's title until the end during the closing credits.

When the film aired on Disney+, it came with a special Marvel logo in honor of Chadwick Boseman. The logo features quotes/images/clips of T'Challa and is shaded purple, the royal color of Wakanda.

There is a statement in the closing credits: "Black Panther will return in Avengers: Infinity War (2018)."

Producer Kevin Feige's credit is represented by a throne.

During part of the closing credits Kendrick Lamar & SZA: All the Stars (2018) plays and the nanites vibrate in time to the beat.
