    Off the Boil

Well, this is frustrating. After Ep 2 had me convinced I was watching something brilliant, "Brigade" has left me scratching my head and wondering if I spoke too soon.

The episode feels scattered, jumping between storylines without giving any of them proper attention. We get glimpses of Carmen's fine dining background, some half-hearted attempts at team building, and various kitchen mishaps that don't seem to connect to anything meaningful. It's like watching a chef try to plate five different dishes at once - nothing gets the focus it deserves.

The pacing that worked so well in Ep 2 now feels frantic rather than purposeful. Characters are shouting past each other rather than having conversations, and the workplace dynamics that seemed authentic before now feel forced and repetitive.

Jeremy Allen White is still doing solid work, but even his performance can't hold together an episode that seems unsure what story it's trying to tell. The supporting cast feels wasted here, particularly when they're stuck delivering exposition rather than genuine moments.

I'm still curious enough to continue, but my enthusiasm has definitely cooled. Hopefully this is just a wobble...

    6.5/10.

    Over Her Head/No Lifesaver

This is all about taking a good idea and ruining it because of your own selfishness. Sydney is really a neat character. She has a problem in the restaurant. She is too smart and capable. She knows how the place should run, but the whole staff is so formidable and stuck in their ways, no one will listen to her. She is put in charge, but the boss, hung up on the suicide of his alcoholic brother, needs some assurances, so attends an ALANON meeting. So she is left to be abused by her colleagues and gets no help from an authority. In my opinion, she should walk out and let the pack of buffoons try to do things on their own. But she is a determined young woman. This is a really good show and is moving along nicely.

This is whats make a tv special

When you watch a show its not about entertainment or because you are bored, it's because you are here to watch this persons, in this case this chefs to grown up like a chef but more importantly like a person. This is what makes tv special and unique, you are here for this persons and they are here for you, the bear is the best tv show of 2022 for those special reasons, so next time don't think as watching tv as a waste of time or some way of procrastinating, it's not that, televisión is something else, and can't be replace, have yourself a good night and take care, this is Jhonatan saying goodbay.

Like a bad documentary about people eating

It was the worst episode of the season yet.

Too much b roll and useless scenes, useless shots where you see what ? Plates ! Tens of plates. You see the young Sydney (Ayo) eating tens of different plates, and that's all.

Seriously I had the impression that I was going to hear a voice off saying things about the plates all the time with poor information like what you hear on bad real tv shows.

They were probably missing things to say in this episode so they had the characters repeating themselves. It was cringe and painful to watch.

I don't know what to watch else but it's sad to see this great series failing in this season. I hope for them that it will be the last one.

    Sydney!

This was an alright episode thst focused a lot on Sydney qnd her relationship with Carmen!

Sydney is very much the new person in qll this! You could say she is us! Green and unexperienced! She very much wants to prove herself and are easily intimidated by those with more experience! She wants to prove that she can be just as good as everyone else and not just prove it to herself, but her surpiriors! This means making mistakes cause you dont want to seem weak, but rather like someone who knows what you are doing!

I also enjoyed the message about staying away from tonic environmrnts! Sometimes you have to look out for yourself too!
