This documentary has all the makings of another great football hit like "Remember the Titans" and "Friday Night Lights." The movie explores the triumphs and victories of another legendary high school football team struggling to overcome issues of poverty and race. It highlights the rise of a mixed team from a low socioeconomic region in Texas to the state championship. The interviews, flashbacks,re-enactments, and music pull at the viewers' heartstrings and one can't help but feel immense pride in this one small team of Mexican American and Anglo teens who come together to become the only Texas high school football champs from South Texas. It is a definite must-see film, if only to catch a glimpse of a team that rivals the greatness of the Titans...the Texas High School Champs of 1961...the Donna Redskins!
