This is a slice of American life in rural Maine. Packed with laughter and good times this film has some great one-liners that kids just seem to love to repeat. This film is a rare comedic gem, garnering a "Best Feature Film" award at the LA International Film Festival (LAFF).
The cast is very large, but the cast of characters is as diverse and enjoyable as it gets. The lead in the film, played by Bill McLean is a goofy, laid back, everyday Joe that makes you feel good about yourself. Bill's performance pulls you in and makes you root for him, while piling up the self-deprecating and fearless attitude of the character.
Noteworthy performances come from Sarah Nicklin as Lisa, Michael Best as Jeff, and a great heartwarming performance from Vanessa Novak as Scooter's love interest. Freddy the paper boy is also a joy to watch, played by Benjamin McLean.
