Dinaledi Lodge prepares for a banquet to celebrate the concession agreement but everyone's world is thrown into crisis when Tiro threatens to sell the land. Tristan convinces Tiro that illegal hunting is going on and that it is an inside job. Bernie has to leave her comfort zone to save the Morula Berry Cake from being a failure for another year.

Tiro's decision to sell the land comes under pressure from both Itumeleng and his own family, and causes ructions amongst the van Reenen's. Lelo is fully expecting Modise to propose, but at the critical moment, nature gets in the way. Bernie's quest for Morula berries leads her down unexplored avenues.

Bernie ventures into the bush with Karel and makes a meaningful connection. Khumo's dodgy life-style impacts on his family and Diksie takes a stand. Itumeleng makes a deal with Tiro to guarantee that he signs the concession agreement.

The initial spark between Tiro and Lelo grows into an increasing fascination with each other - a fascination which raises eyebrows amongst the guests at the banquet and causes Itumeleng to over-react and get into a fight with Tiro. Bernie's Morula Berry Cake is presented to Kgosi Rratladi.

The pressure is building on Tristan from both Karel and Kate to ease off on his investigation of the illegal hunting. Under interrogation from Zoe, Lelo finally admits she couldn't say "Yes," to Modise's proposal because she thinks she's met someone else. Isaac Tladi reports in at Dinaledi for his first day as a ranger, and promptly puts Jack's nose out of joint.

Tristan plows on with his investigation, and chooses to confront Itumeleng with the evidence of the dead rhino. Lelo attempts to convince herself that Modise is really the man for her. Isaac undergoes a harsh initiation punishment for stepping on Jack's toes and finds no acceptance from his fellow rangers but he's a hit with the ladies. Itumeleng is stunned when his father collapses in his arms.

Tiro arrives at the Chic Young Designer Awards and Zoe has to run interference. When his guests get out of control, Isaac breaks the ranger code but holds onto his personal code. Bernie steps into the danger zone when she finds the rhino horn.

Isaac takes on orientation and impresses everyone except Jack. Lelo decides that she wants to marry Modise, but that changes when she gets an unexpected visitor. Tristan liberates himself from the pressure of having to find who killed the rhino.

A hunting party arrives and Jack is tempted to offer them an illegal kill, Modise wants an answer from Lelo. Tristan increases the pressure on Jack while Amber plans a surprise birthday party for Kate.

Kate is drawn into the hunt by Jack, much to Tristan's annoyance, and Jack shifts his focus, to Kate. Tiro can't get Lelo out of his mind, until Marang drops a bomb in his lap.

Jack begins to fear that Bernie could be in real danger from Itumeleng. Jack begins to insinuate his way between Tristan and Kate, which infuriates Tristan. Tiro takes matters into his own hands. Itumeleng tells Khumo to discipline his wife, Diksie, but things don't go according to plan.

Jack cannot help himself: he offers the hunters an illegal Kudu bull. Bernie finally discovers what Itumeleng wants, and realizes she wants the same thing. Lelo has made up her mind, and tells Modise her decision. After Kate's surprise birthday party, Jack makes his intentions clear, leaving Kate stunned.

Lelo barely has time to catch her breath after getting engaged when Itumeleng sets about planning the wedding. Sarah warns Kate against telling Tristan about Jack's kiss. When Jack tries to get rid of the rhino horn he finds himself looking down the barrel of a gun.

Jack negotiates his way out of a dangerous situation while Kate gets an unexpected offer from Itumeleng. Modise and Lelo stand up for themselves but can't help offending those who want to play a part in their wedding. Isaac realizes that satisfying a guest's needs can get personal.

Tristan reveals to Kate the promise of a new dream that she doesn't completely share. Lelo turns Modise around on their marriage plans. Giovanna's theatricality causes more trouble for Isaac with Jack. Tristan realizes the threat of rhino poaching is a long way from over.

With pressure mounting on the engaged couple, Lelo admits that she hasn't been open with her family about Modise and then lies to herself about Tiro. Tristan invigorates his passion for the white lion project and puts aside his tensions with Karel. Isaac gets pulled into Giovanna's seductive cobweb and finds her impossible to resist.

Diksie, seeing more sparks between Itumeleng and Bernie, believes there's a hot attraction between them. In the midst of Tristan's passion for his white lion project Kate reveals her real fears to Sarah. After being teased and questioned by his siblings, Tiro decides an attack strategy is the best way to move on from Lelo.

The lack of privacy at the lodge corners Itumeleng into telling Bernie they can't be together, but Bernie has other ideas. After taking out his frustration on the camera trap, Jack uses it as a gauntlet to lay down another challenge to Tristan, who is finding Karel a handful as a business partner.

Head ranger Jack stays one step ahead of nemesis Tristan, while Lelo debates whether to attend Tiro's dinner party and the White Lion Project hits a few road bumps because of Karel's cold feet.

Tension mounts for the Lebone family as the night of Tiro's party arrives and Tiro has to deal with seeing Lelo on Modise's arm as his fiancé. Isaac discovers that Jack and Giovanna's encounter was much more innocent than Jack makes out and he finally has Jack on the back foot.

Tristan realizes he has to tell Karel he has to be excluded from the white lion project. After avoiding the issue with Marang, Tiro tries to make contact with Lelo. Marang brings someone new into the Lebone house while Bernie and Itumeleng continue their hot affair in secret.

Tristan tells Karel he has to be excluded from the white lion project, and gets an unexpected response. Tiro makes contact with Lelo and tells her he is not giving up on her. Bernie is furious with Itumeleng for breaking their deal, and Diksie points out a few home truths to Marang.

With an important event being hosted at the lodge - and a difficult critic - people are tense. When Nick leaves the lodge in the lurch, Bernie has an opportunity to step in and shine. She also takes the opportunity to test her boundaries with Itumeleng, but will she push him too far? Meanwhile Kate is encouraged in her quest for independence by Karel.

Marang shares the secret of her divorce with Hope. Kate realizes that balancing her newly revived career with her marriage to Tristan is going to be far from easy, and Bernie fights to claim the top spot in the lodge's kitchen.

Karel and Tristan form an uneasy alliance, but Kate is feeling increasingly offended by Tristan's lack of understanding. Marang is propelled by Hope's predicament and gets a break when Mama Rose suggests a possible course of action. Itumeleng tells Bernie they have to cool their relationship in order to make Bernie's promotion plausible.

Marang gets served divorce papers and shares with Hope why she is the "defendant". Tristan and Kate keep missing each other and their conflict threatens to boil over. Khumo prepares for his interview with Bernie and is pleasantly surprised by what he encounters.

The tension between Tristan and Kate increases, and Amber starts to feel the effects of the worsening domestic situation. Itumeleng overrides Khumo's appointment process and appoints Bernie as Head Chef. Lelo does her best to respect Modise's needs.

Kate is stuck in the middle of nowhere, and her attempts to connect with Tristan fail. Tristan finally learns something has happened, and the race is on to rescue Kate. Itumeleng takes matters into his own hands regarding the troublesome Tomas, but will he go too far in solving the problem?

Tristan and Jack both race to save Kate, but only one will get there on time. Bernie can't contain her jealousy when an old flame of Itumeleng's arrives. Itumeleng confronts Lelo about Tiro.

Lelo is pushed to an extreme decision about her relationship with Modise. Marang makes an astonishing confession to her family. Kate finally tells Tristan the truth about what she is feeling.

Itumeleng forces Modise to make a decision about Lelo, then fights his urge to be a part of whatever Ayanda is putting together. The Lebone's rally around Marang, and she finds the courage to challenge Zweli's demands in the divorce hearing. Lelo regrets tossing the Tladi ring into the dam.

As the staff gossip about the big break up, Modise appears to be falling apart, but his binge causes him to finally stand up to Itumeleng. Tristan warns Kate of Itumeleng and Jack. Zoe cannot comfort Lelo, who is at her lowest. Marang warns Khumo and Diksie to keep Lelo's situation a secret from Tiro.

When Tiro learns of Modise and Lelo's break-up, he acts immediately, despite the problems this causes with his family. Modise, meanwhile, tries to figure out whether Lelo is right for him. Itumeleng undermines Jack and it seems that tension between the two could be dangerous for both.

Tiro encourages his sister to fight for her kids, while he continues to fight for Lelo. Bernie and Itumeleng reach a stalemate in their relationship due to the cunning and enigmatic presence of Ayanda. Modise and Lelo make a very tough decision.

Itumeleng is still resisting Ayanda's attempts to seduce him - both professionally and personally. She turns up the heat by forcing a confrontation Itumeleng is sure to hate. Marang struggles to decide what to do about her children, until she gets advice from an old friend. Modise isn't taking his breakup with Lelo very well and has to lean on Zoe as a friend.

Ayanda oversteps the mark and Itumeleng realizes it is time for her to go. Zoe and Modise try to make sense of their gigantic mistake and Lelo has shocking news for Modise. It seems Kate may have friends from her past descending on her, and she's not sure if she wants that.

Itumeleng and Dinaledi Lodge face a staffing crisis after a bridge is closed. Lelo and Tiro decide to take things to the next level, while Modise comes to terms with the breakup. Kate has a crisis of faith.

The Dinaledi staff are becoming tired and overworked and Khumo's attempts to keep everything running smoothly puts him in conflict with Mama Rose. Kate is still anxious about being with all her old friends and finds it hard to join in the fun, especially when it becomes clear that Jack and Paula are attracted to each other. Itumeleng has to decide how far he'll go to make sure a wealthy and important guest doesn't go to another Lodge.

Tiro's unwavering in his love for Lelo, even against Marang's vehement opposition. Kate butts heads with Tristan when he finds out that she is not proud of her family and who she has become. Itumeleng is frustrated by the fact that the bridge is not repaired yet, and he passes the responsibility of managing the staff to Khumo because he has other fish to fry.

Lelo arrives at the Lebone house to spend the day, but it is quickly apparent that Marang is not happy about it. During an outing with a few of her friends, Kate realizes that Karel understands her situation. But will she make peace with her place? Itumeleng is under huge pressure with the bridge crisis and a client with an impossible demand. How far will he have to go to please him?

Dinaledi lodge is still not running at full tilt, and with a demanding VIP guest on the books Khumo and Itumeleng have their hands full. Marang starts to see the fallout of her pending divorce first hand when her son gets in trouble. Jack tries to keep Itumeleng's illegal hunting venture below the radar.

Jack and Isaac experience the beginnings of an unlikely, but mutual understanding and respect as they prepare for a hunt. Marang makes little progress with her son, and has to entrust him to an unlikely person - Khumo. Itumeleng is far from rid of Ayanda. Her ambition brings her back and she is not letting go.

Jack finally spots leopard tracks, but he has to deal with Isaac's suspicions about the legitimacy of the leopard hunt. Khumo brings in an old acquaintance to entertain DeSantos, and she puts a strain on his marriage. Tuelo starts his work experience at the lodge.

DeSantos gets his prize but Isaac learns that hunting at Dinaledi is far more complicated than it seems. Tuelo finally confronts Marang about her divorce. Diksie seems to take Lindsay and Bernie's advice about how to deal with Khumo, but neither of them expect her to actually remain calm.

Isaac finds himself conflicted by the illegal hunting of a female leopard. Marang gets advice from Itumeleng that helps her restore her relationship with Tuelo. But then he destroys it all again. Khumo and Diksie's marriage hits an even bigger snag.

Isaac sinks deeper and deeper into the lies that bind him, Itumeleng and Jack, and his life is forever changed. No matter how much Itumeleng resists, Ayanda is determined to bring him to his knees. Khumo flounders without Diksie, and she shows no sign of forgiving him.

Kate's friend Nina comes to visit the Van Reenen's and Kate realizes that she's happy with her life. Lelo and Zoe's friendship continues to unravel, due to Zoe's one night stand with Modise. Itumeleng and Ayanda begin their campaign to win the tender for the Kwena bridge, and Ayanda tells Itumeleng to approach his father for community buy-in.

After the failed pitch to Rratladi, Ayanda feels Itumeleng has betrayed her chances of grabbing the tender for the bridge, so she gets revenge via Modise. Kate learns exactly what Nina has planned for her, and she is stunned. Diksie thinks she has finally got through to Khumo when he surprises her with a demand of his own. Tiro invites Lelo to his house for the weekend.

The Tladi Brothers almost go to war over an increasingly manipulative Ayanda. Kate finds it hard to tell her husband that she wants to go, while Tristan finds it even harder to let her go. Marang and Lelo fight for the queen bee position in the Lebone aka Tiro House.

Modise plays along with Ayanda's games to collect info for Itumeleng. Marang makes Lelo's life hell which Tiro counters by offering Marang a job. Tristan's attitude drives Nina away, and Kate decides to follow her. Khumo and Diksie learn about love from an unexpected source.
