The company that Bacon works for is called Fells Point & Levinson, a reference to legendary director Barry Levinson. Kevin Bacon was also in Diner (1982), a film directed by Barry Levinson, and starring Paul Reiser, who is also in this film.
Judith McConnell was contractually obligated to do this film after signing on to appear in The Purge: Anarchy (2014), another Blumhouse film production.
Parts of this film were shot on the Melrose Bombing Range in Melrose, New Mexico.
