- Four amateur parapsychologists travel to an allegedly haunted 14th century castle in Spain to dis-prove the existence of ghosts by demonstrating the existence of residual energies. Team leader, Soren Stefanson, has a hidden agenda and wants to communicate with the energies by taking a self-made hallucinative drug called Spo0k. This causes tragic consequences. Plagued by horrible apparitions of ghosts and lost souls inside the castle, team member Mitchell Deveneaux ingests the drug and now cannot distinguish between what is real or what is imagined. He must fight and find his way out of the castle and his drug induced psychosis, where reality and tricks of the mind cannot be distinguished from the other.—Anonymous

With their own developed software, 4 young amateur-parapsychologists try to proove the non-existance of ghosts, spirits and souls by demonstrating purely the existance of residual energies in so called ''haunted houses''. Teamleader Soren Stefansson (Ed Coupland) has a hidden agenda; he wants to communicate with these energies by taking the self-made hallucinative drug 'spo0K'.
Before the project even commences, Lauren La Roche (Annette B. Kellow) dies by overdosing the highly illegal stemcell-based drug, which makes Soren want to hide her body before a furious Ken Swigert (Peter Hart) turns them over to the police. When their cameras ironically capture images of the residual energy of Lauren wandering through the hallways, Soren seeks refuge in his drug addiction while weblog administrator Mitchell Deveneaux (Mitchell Moran) now takes the spo0K drug on his own, in a last effort to save the project.
Plagued by horrible apparitions of the ghosts of the house (Aranzazu Diez) Mitchell tries to fight his way out of either the house or his mind, where time, space and reality seem to intertwine and distort in a gruesome and unescapable way.
