America Now is ending after four seasons on the air. The syndicated lifestyle program which is hosted by Leeza Gibbons and Bill Rancic has been cancelled.
Raycom Media, which produces the daily show (via ITV Studios America) and covers all of its production costs, confirmed the cancellation.
“America Now is a show we are extremely proud of,” said Paul McTear, president and CEO of Raycom Media. “We love Leeza, Bill, the content and the fact that it’s family friendly and advertiser friendly. But it failed to measure up, from a business-model standpoint.”
Combining original content with segments from local stations, the show premiered as a one-hour show back on October 30, 2010. In September 2011, it was downsized to a half-hour daily show but two episodes often aired back-to-back.

From her stints on everything from "Entertainment Tonight" to "America Now," Leeza Gibbons, 55, is a familiar face across America. Behind the scenes, Gibbons also is an activist. After her family's experience with her mother's and grandmother's Alzheimer's disease, the South Carolina native created the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation and its signature programs, Leeza's Place and Leeza's Care Connection, which offer free services for family caregivers.
If that weren't enough, the industrious Gibbons also is an author -- her latest book, "Take 2: Your Guide to Creating Happy Endings and New Beginnings,"
is out in bookstores today. As she explains it, the book helps people take creative control over their own lives. Many stars have raved about the book, including Gibbons' friend Olivia Newton-John, who said "I know Leeza is a master of starting over because I've seen her do it! In this book, she takes her real life experiences in career,...

Are you fearless when it comes to falling in love and staying in love? In this exclusive Becoming Fearless video, Arianna Huffington and familiar faces such as Dr. Phil, E! News anchor Giuliana Rancic and comedian Kathy Griffin do some plain talking about what it takes to find -- and enjoy -- a healthy romantic relationship. "Women's fears about love are different from men's," notes Arianna. "How often do we as women move heaven and earth to structure our lives around getting a man to love us, to accept us, to honor us, to just like us... all so we can feel okay about ourselves?"
"You'll know when you're in love," says "America Now" cohost Bill Rancic. "It’s like someone hits you over the head with a baseball bat."
Says Dr. Phil, "You should have a good time. But the key is to remain safe."
