Freya, a wife and mother, suddenly finds herself in a time loop - on the very day she is planning to leave her husband. Moritz, a police officer, and Sophie, a nurse who is pregnant, are experiencing the same phenomenon.
Freya, Moritz, and Sophie try to figure out how to escape the time loop. Before they can do so, the three of them must find out how and why each one of them ended up in it. Tragic events force them to admit their mistakes.
During breakfast Freya freezes: The morning radio broadcast is different. She suspects there is another awakened person, and tries to hide her excitement from Malte. But they are disillusioned, as radio host have no idea about the loop.
Charlie and her friend Elias experience their awakening together. They begin to test their limits, discovering they like the possibilities of the time loop. Freya has no idea her daughter is in the loop as well.
Freya can hardly believe it - Daphne really seems to have awakened. However, this means the dog is afraid of her now, and bites her. Malte continues to be unaware. Charlie witnesses her mother hiding a suitcase from Malte.
Freya starts out for Turin once again. A confrontation ensues between Charlie and Malte. Becker persuades Sophie to embark on a daring plan to get her to her baby. Malte lies gravely injured in the family's living room. The doorbell rings.
