I’ll admit it, I was a little nervous about speaking with Brent Spiner during a recent press Q&A conference call with him and Warehouse 13 showrunner Jack Kenny. I’d spoken with Jack Kenny before and he’s always been a treat, but Brent Spiner? Who knew he would be such a treat? He and Kenny had a terrific rapport and they were clearly enjoying the banter. They even had a way of making each caller feel like part of the cool kids’ group.
There is one paragraph of spoilers, but you’ll see a warning; otherwise, spoilerphobes have no reason to worry. Make sure to read to the end, as there’s a tantalizing tidbit they tossed in at the very end…

I love Data — that being the Data from the classic Star Trek: The Next Generation. I also love Spock. Shakespeare isn't bad either. If you ever wanted all three, all at once, then your time has come.
The new episode of Brent Spiner's Fresh Hell is out, and it somehow has managed such an unlikely combination. Fresh Hell features a lot of powerfully self-deprecating humor with a big Star Trek bent. After watching it, I just have to say that Spiner is awesome — and wow, do I miss Tng.
For some great Spiner Star Trek oddness, check out the video below!

Coachella audiences were shocked this past weekend when Tupac Shakur appeared on stage to perform with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. Thanks to some incredible Oscar-worthy special effects people, the rapper—who was tragically murdered back in 1996—was resurrected via hologram for this special performance. And it's got the world buzzing.
Now that Tupac's performing in holograms, maybe I can get him for a guest shot on, "Fresh Hell".

Brett Spiner, Data from popular sci-fi TV show "Star Trek," is no stranger to holograms, as they were a huge part of the show. The actor now hosts a sketch comedy web-series called "Fresh Hell" and mentioned Tupac's hologram making an appearance. You know what would be better? If Data met Tupac.
The android would no doubt be shocked by Tupac's use of language, but impressed by the technology used to create him. We imagine he'd want to study the advanced hologram,...

Back in June, Brent Spiner took part in a webcast where he discussed his recent webseries Fresh Hell. During the course of the interview, he mentioned that he’d love to join his former Star Trek: The Next Generation cast mate Wil Wheaton, and guest star on The Big Bang Theory. Well, it looks like he got his wish; both Brent and Wil will be appearing in an upcoming episode of the CBS comedy.

Couple of bits of info on upcoming sequels for you today. First up, Brent Spiner, who played Data on Star Trek: The Next Generation and in several movies that followed, might like to appear in the upcoming Star Trek sequel currently being written by Damon Lindelof, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and J.J. Abrams. Emphasis on 'might,' however. In an online chat [1] to promote his new series Fresh Hell, the actor joked about a possible role in the Trek sequel: I am thinking more about the next Star Trek movie and more about who can I be in it. I did this character Arik Soong [on Star Trek Enterprise], not to be confused with Dr. Soong on the [Tng], this was his predecessor. And I would like to start a campaign, maybe right here tonight, its called Bbs – Bring Back Soong. And I want you to flood Jj Abrams offices with that: Bbs, Bring Back Soong.
