When the film begins, a glacier calves (breaks off ice) to reveal the Dreamworks Animation logo, the logo portion then calves again to replace the boy holding the fishing pole with the four penguins standing on each others' shoulders.
As a reference to a running gag in the film, Dave is initially identified as "Debbie" in the closing credits.
In the middle of the credits, there is a scene where the penguins fix Private back to normal using Mort's cuteness.
The DreamWorks Animation logo appears with a "Twenty Years" commemoration at the beginning.
