I understand the main logic behind the plot. All are very cliche and common personalities we all have around us. But the missing thing is the emotions which is mainly the only reason behind the types of decisions given in the movie. There has to be a more story behind every character and their relationship so it feels more realistic. But it's an interactive movie /game afterall, shouldn't be taken too seriously. I feel kind of glad that these type of common uncertainties before marriage/ during relationships are out in the open now. Many may find themselves in the show and it may provide them a new way of thinking.

I don't know how I feel about this new "choose your own adventure" format. I will say that the romantic comedy and maybe a mystery are the two genres that might lend themselves to this format.
I watched two different endings to this romance, one where Cami ends up with perfect Paul and the other where she ends up with rocker Rex, which I don't feel is much of a spoiler since I assume there is also an ending where she ends up with the one that got away Jack. I can't say I had strong feelings about either ending or any of the characters really. Which leads me to what I think was lost in this "choose your own adventure" format...time wasn't spent developing the characters or their romance. It left everything feeling flat and cliched. Maybe the film needs to be longer in order to develop the romance and still allow you to make choices? Either way this film suffered versus benefitted, coming across as very juvenile and unfinished.
I think it was a cute film to try out this new format on, so if you just want to see how the choose your own adventure works...this is an easy no brainer way to do it, but otherwise this is not a recommendation from me.
I did like a couple of Cami's wardrobe pieces, particularly that great yellowy orange she wore.

Cami is a terrible person which leads to an unrelatable movie plot and a lackluster experience.
The basic plot of the experience is help Cami cheat on her loving and committed boyfriend for the past 3 years, which lets be real here, that's gross Netflix. Even if you pick the boyfriend centric options it still leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
The acting by the three gentlemen suitors is pretty good but they mainly coast on their good looks. Being a fan of all three actors previous works and knowing what they are capable of this what's a major disappointment.
Overall I'm choosing not to love this...

I had low expectations after the first few shots of the self involved clearly narcissistic main character appears. It is a romantic comedy. The main character who is bound to her boy friend is weighing her romantic options after reuniting with a childhood friend and a rock star client. They both entice her to choose between different romantic paths. So ultimately you have 3 options, choosing the adventurous rock star path, the.path of making the world a better place with the environmentalist childhood friend or sticking with your boy friend. The whole experience bored me out of my mind as I cruised through very predictable scenarios. It is bad because it is shallow, from character to story. This one is a miss.

An interesting concept - having some say in the story narrative. You could rewatch the movie for an entirely different outcome.
The main character has 3 potential suitors and you can choose what to do at key moments....for example to meet with them or not. The 3 suitors seem to offer either commitment, risk, or revisiting 1st love. I imagine there is a choice to end up alone too. Sometimes the choices you make lead to unexpected outcomes, which is similar to real life I guess.
Quirky, fun concept.
One negative is that you have to be quick with your choices, otherwise it will choose for you.

I watched this through the first time choosing everything the polar opposite of what I did in real life just for fun. You can choose the fun choice instead of the "sure thing"- clean-cut guy who adores you, is wealthy, and your family loves him. And whatever you choose it's only a movie and doesn't change a thing so it's risk-free fun! Then I watched it again and chose differently. I'd like to see more films like this. The possibilities are endless and it would be a fun movie to watch with a party full of friends, drinks, and snacks. Bottomline, there are no wrong choices in life, only different choices with different outcomes.

There is a singing scene between Rex, the rock star, and laura Marano. It is freakishly close to a singing scene in Austin and Ally between Laura marano and Austin--Ros Lynch. Both songs are pretty and there's even a similar "lean on" lyric. And in both Laura Marano plays a singer with stage fright. The scene has very little to do with the actual plot. It's just amazingly close to Austin and Ally. Laura Marano must have had a strong deja vu. Meanwhile I had no idea Rex was Avan Jogia (Beck) from Victorious. He did a good job. I like when actors appear as characters and you don't recognize them at all. The movie is good fun and if you're an Austin and Ally fan you will love the singing scene.
I saw porn better filmed than this. There are scene where you can see they used green screen. The writting is so cheesy that will make Pacino act bad, so let's not blame the actors. This is just a low romcom that can you trick by the false asumption that is interactive. Despite the big decisions eg. Which race should the white woman chose, the rest of decisions are simply useless, because the movie will go in the same direction. There is a case where you can chose if Cami should wear an elegant dress or a wild one and no matter what you chose, the man will decide in the next scene that the elegant one is the the better choice.
Big L Netflix.

Characters are awful and dialogues are cringe. All choices feel bad. At least we had a laugh while watching this below average interactive movie. Main character is not really likable at all. We wanted to mix it up as much as possible but we were hoping for a crazier ending. Interactive movies are a cool genre, but I feel that 2 movies that netflix made were underwhelming. We watched in couples, so that's a recommendation if you still decide to watch it. Also, it is not that long, I guess because of our choices but we kept it fun until the end. There should be a choice to end up with your boss, aka the donut guy.

Watching a movie shouldnt feel like work.. hello!! Let me relax !.. I have to make enough choices in my real life... this move DIY experience sucks, I got to I guess a third of the movie, and got tired. I really couldn't continue. One choice after another, then you can also go back and change it all, you never know how much of a movie you got left... I'm guessing it could last about 4 hours if you keep changing your choices. It's a really interesting concept at first but it doesn't work.. Maybe in cartoons I see the point , but for grown ups , it gets really enoying and frustrating.. waste of time... will not watch something like this again.

"Choose Love" is an interactive movie. You should definitely try this genre. This movie is not the best interactive movie, so don't judge the entire genre because of this movie. Try it, you may hate it, you may love it.
There are probably dozens of different versions of the movie. This is the movie that you need to watch with your significant other. This movie can get you to know someone closer.
Everything in this movie is related to your choices. The interactive feature made this movie a good one.
As a conclusion, your experience with this movie will be unique. You need to experience this. And act quick with your decisions because netflix is not going to wait you.

Personally, I was very curious about the concept of an interactive film, but it quickly turned out not to be for me. As a viewer you can make choices during the story. This already has the limitation that you have to watch the film on a touchscreen. Streaming this film is therefore impossible.
The story itself is very childish. Very little happens, there is hardly any tension. Because the image and sound on Netflix are not 100% synchronized and there are often breaks in the film to allow you to make your choices, you are not drawn into the story. It is very difficult to keep your attention.
In my opinion, this concept has been developed purely for children to keep them busy in silence. It is exactly the same concept as the choice games that you can install as a game on your smartphone. I don't think these is any added value that this film/game (whatever you want to call it) is promoted on a streaming service such as Netflix.

Some people are too sensitive for this film. Choices have to be made during film. Are you going to cheat or not. Do you choose to end long-term relationship or not. Some people apparently can't do this or some feel guilty. I understand it somewhere, but first of all, it's a movie. Secondly, life is also full with chooses. If you are in a long-term relationship it doesn't mean you have to stay with that person forever and is doesn't mean that is good. I do not approve cheating and I would hate if it happens to me. But it happens.
So ... Choose to have a good time by watching this movie with a glass of wine. I enjoyed myself very much. Of course there are nicer movies or better script. But I did not waste my evening watching this movie.
I give this movie a 8 because some people are crybabies. Goodnight!

Cami Conway (Laura Marano) is unsatisfied. A psychic tells her that she has three men in her future. She already has adequate boyfriend Paul Swartz (Scott Michael Foster). Former crush Jack Menna (Jordi Webber) comes back into her life. Rock star Rex Galier (Avan Jogia) tempts her with reviving her childhood dream. Cami often breaks the fourth wall and sometimes invites the audience to make a choice.
Netflix is trying interactive again and I can say that this is a fail. I barely am able to maintain interest to go through the story once. It's a very bland rom-com and not worthy of the attention needed for the interactions. This would be more in line with Hallmark romance movies and those are best played in the background. For this genre to work, the audience has to be fully invested in the movie and desperate to search out every possible path. I remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books back in the 80's. They were more action adventures. A good rom-com is constructed from standard parts that builds and flows. I don't think it works as an interactive movie. When it is interactive, it becomes too disjointed. This movie is always going through all three men to set up the next choice. The structure is completely different.
Like I said, this is a bland rom-com to begin with. I like Marano, but the movie is all on her shoulders. The guys could be good, but the premise makes them not irreplaceable. As a straight-up rom-com, this could be average Hallmark fare. Add in the gimmick, this become unbearably extended.
