I recently went to a screening of "Hi, Honey!" and was tickled by its cleverness and charm. I did think that the opening scene in the cake shop could have been more refined and made a stronger initial "punch". But once in, I loved the bonsai-obsessed husband (the glove!) and laughed out loud at the comedic timing of the "looks" in the deli. Also notable was the brilliant light/color in the presentation (e.g. the butterfly and the cake). While the message is of course up to interpretation, I thought it spoke to not losing sight of what's important and just being "present" (acceptance/approval from self and others is there if you only raise your gaze to acknowledge it). I'd love to see more of this storyline and cast! What a hilarious sit-com this would make.
