Cars 2: The Video Game

There aren't a lot of karting games that are good. You only really have Mario Kart and maybe that one or two forgotten racing games. This is one of those forgotten racing games. First off, for a movie game they are usually bad quality and have no heart in it. In this movie game the creators of it put as much heart as they possibly could. From weapons to characters to the story mode it's all perfect. The only thing that really feels like it needs to go back into the oven again is how the stats work on characters because it feels like there's no effect playing as a different character. Next the story mode is perfect. It mainly just the plot of the movie in racing form but it works for this game. There are no annoying jokes it's just racing and more racing. There might be a mini game here or there but they aren't too hard. And finally, the mechanics in this game feel like they fit and don't cause any problems to use. I've played so many kart racers where when I use the boost it just puts you at full speed and crashes you into a wall. I've never had that problem with this game.
