The series looks interesting and gripping although series starts off with an Intresting aspect mystery and the main plot resolves around how a journalist could save himself and his wife from dootha ,the messenger

Who is dootha why he is chasing this journalist what is his intension behind this and why it is all started and what is the connection to Nagachaitanya to get answers for all this you have to watch the series

The series goes in intresting and keeps engaging although, screenplay flairs apart but all the twists and parts are impressive and also worked well on screen

Coming to the actors performances all the lead actors are aptly delivered impressive performances Nagachaitanya as journalist has nailed in his character it is the first time he is playing this character it looks fresh and he really did a great job can say one of his super performances in his career and all the other supportive actors did their best

Mainly parvathi as investigation officer rocks the show with her settle performance and intresting screen presence she gave her best asusual in her role

Priya Bhavani sankar also looks pretty in her role rest of all cast and crew did their best

Technicalities are good production values are just awesome important mention goes to the cinematographer most of the series runs in rainbackdrop the way he captured the sense of rain in each frame looks stunning and pulled that thrilling edge through minute details Bgm is also good

A good watch for this weekend an Intresting seat edging thriller can give it a watch

Don't want to include spoilers but yes there are some loose ends in the story.

This a must watch for audience seeking thrill and love investigative content. I wish there could be more seasons and director makes much better contant than this one.

Actors gave their best performances but all credit goes to Vikram did the same thing 'blockbuster' and edge of the seat thriller and not to be watched with kids.

Coming to actors Naga Chaitanya gave his best and telugu audience will love the performances of Parvathi (Malayalam Heroine) Prachi and Priya have done their roles perfectly. Every artist is properly utilised.

Starting screenplay is nice and it's tell about , present journalism situation in society , it's good thought of taking this script.

I wanted to watch this one because of Parvathy. She usually picks up good scripts. I however felt this was her weakest role. Naga Chaitanya was good but could have been better as the main protagonist. Telugu movies/series can do with less digression to the back stories and focus more the plot on hand.

The series was above average. I feel it could have been better. The story was good. The execution should have been much better. With Parvathy I was assured that the story would not be chauvinistic like most Telugu movies.

The end was a little hurried and could have been a little better then it actually was.

Excellent performance by everyone, good story and good screenplay.

Thrilling moments keep coming our way continuously. The way a few deaths are showcased is breathtaking, and these crime scenes keep us on the edge of our seats. Vikram K Kumar gives a powerful message to the society, and it doesn't look forceful at all. There are multiple layers and characters in the show. In the end, all the dots are connected neatly. Every character keeps driving the story forward.

Dhootha is a captivating mystery thriller that has a good number of interesting moments.

Naga Chaitanya makes an impressive OTT debut with Dhootha. His character has two shades, and the Akkineni actor does a fantastic job.

1st episode was great, the next two episodes i thought may be this is also going the "lost" way, but no atleast they wrapped it up in someway.

Could be entertaining, if one doesn't overanalyze.

Few annoyances ( that i felt)

• Is using the "f" word too frequently supposed to make us (the audience) feel that the characters are relatable and genuine??. The only time i felt that the story really asked for the bhothulu is when the killer of priya speaks in the final episode.

• Naga chaitanya's voice and expression doesn't match - his neck muscles, face shows that he is shouting - but the voice comes out as 6.5 out of 10 volume.

• Could've been shorter, 4-5 episodes.

• story took some liberties, for simplifying the story, deaths, etc, its ok passable. But i nearly laughed when nag was shocked when he saw the printer at the light house, and the music, camera angles are shown as if we are also supposed to be shocked at the sight of it, just like nag. But just a few scenes back, he asks chandramoham about the printer, and he says it could still be there in the light house, so why the shock -_-

• so why kill the kids/family members of the targeted person? The ghost wanted to take the country/society forward by showing the truth, but has no problem killing innocents just to make the target suffer!! Ghost needs to reevaluate its moral compass!

The series starting is very good, but after it will get slow or something unwanted scenes that lacks the interest becoz the story revile all the mysteries and suspense in the climax 6,7,8 episodes. At first while I'm watching the show i felt that why is this hero character is written very bold and like he is the villain and at some point i think he is the villain then I'm going to think i need to stop watching the show then at something magic happens, the director connected all the points then it all make sense. The climax is unexpected and the heart of the show is also the climax.

Like first i said, dont think about the hero characterization because this story needs that type of character. But some of the scenes in the series are like you can easily guess what's appening but the charactors in the can't recognize that. Some movements felt like why is this people having this low iq. Because they knew what going to happen but they do it anyway.

This is my first review i think there are lot of mistakes but i tried my best.

The story is engaging and the suspense was good. Just that the acting of Naga Chaitanya. Rest all did well. And just bcz it is a suspense and horror story that dont mean it will keep raining the whole time. Since episode 1 till the end it just keep raining for no reason. I didnt like it but if you like it enjoy it. One time watch and mostly forgettable.

The frustrating character was Naga Chaitanya himself giving same irritating expressions through out. This could had been easily be done by some other good actors but he just ruined the mood of the series. Anyways watch it like it and enjoy it.

The concept is intriguing. You will be engaged right from the beginning but you will be constantly irked with Naga Chaitanya's character in the show. He is grumpy like a 45 year old, talks like he is the owner of the most successful media empire in the telugu states, but acts like a petty criminal with no proper thought process. I understand that it is for making the plot interesting, to create a dark and tense environment around the plot, but it makes us wonder whom to root for in the entire story. The senseless use of cuss words just for the sake of it continues in this show and it gets on your nerve's after few episodes.

I finished six episodes and felt ok. Vikram's work could have been better in making the lead characters more relatable. Camera work is neat. BG score is ok but not so memorable.

Will edit this review if the last 2 episodes make any sense and give a good closure to this plot.

It's worth watching such a wonderfull screenplay in one go... Story line is great portrait in a good way.... Happy to write my first review on such a thriller + horror + dramatic series... Series had showed how the tables are turned at the end...and finally justice is delivered... Though it need some improvisation...like run time is some how long...even though it is engaging ... It make much more impact if background music would have been loud....and it little bit lack in creating the suspense.... I m still confused why the youtube channel holder person got killed....in such a brutal way.... Overall i liked it very much....inspired from this series.

What a movie, what a direction what a actors performances overall a very nice and must watch thriller movie , family oriented movie, should watch with family very happily. Vikram Kumar direction is excellent and all actors performed well.....................Naga Chaitanya perfomance is mind-blowing and rest of all actors did their best and directors performance is extraordinary he could perform with actors very smoothly and such an family oriented including message for genuine journalism is required. Today all are parties having their own papers they ruined paper rites director has been shown very smoothly with an extraordinary screen play.

Penultimate mind-blowing story telling! An amazing build-up of story right from start, in the middle right till the end nicely connecting the dots. Horror which thrillingly terrifies & not let's the viewer get bored & grips him/her in mystery. Naga Chaitanya's performance is too good, over it his simple look in a dashing yet super-sexy moustache the classy Mard look nails it to the core. Prachi Desai seemed a bit subdued, could have bee more eleborated though part of the writing so can leave it. Subtly spread across episodes is shown the level of perversion & corruption/rot in the system which needs to be cleansed but can only be done with ultra-will & truthfulness.

I was bit hesitant initially to watch the series considering few factors in my mind - chaitanya in OTT and how traditional and routine story it could be etc etc....but I wanted to try and that's it, I hooked to the TV until the last episode, that says it. Omg, the director made sure the story continues to give you the curiosity to watch and enjoy the thrill until the last moment. After few episodes you get to understand what's happening but inspite of that you still wanted to continue feel the curiosity due to the way story narrated and screenplay and actors performance. I really enjoyed each and every episode, congratulations to team for the success. Parvathi's character portrayal and the way investigation happens is on the top of the show.

Some people are saying about the weakness of the plot considering interesting subject, I wanted to tell them it is a supernatural genre so you can't expect other than supernatural, what's important is honest and sincere effort from the producers and actors and Audience enjoyed the show or not.

First I am fan of Amazon for their low price as compared to netflix and its always come up with good content.

Now Dhootha review from my side 1. Its concept and story is unique.

2. Cast performance & Director, Music BG : star Naga Chaitanya,Parvathy,Priya, Prachi and other cast are simply given best performance.

Director has done well with handling the story , script, screenplay and back ground music is very well fit with incidents and suspense.

3. Paper cut pieces and its predict or future foreseen incidents made nail biting suspense what happen next and its all incidents are Thrilled.

13B, directed by Vikram K Kumar, was a critically praised thriller. He proceeded on a similar path with his first-ever web series, Dhoota, which stars Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. The Protagonist, a journalist, experiences unanticipated catastrophes in his life and learns about them through newspaper clippings. The series follows the protagonist's life as he faces hardships and attempts to alter the course of events. The series gets off to an exciting start, and the investigation part afterward also dealt very well. The backstory was a bit predictable and acted as a minus point. Except for this part and a few dull moments, Dhoota works as a satisfactory watch. Naga Chaitanya was decent in a new role, and Parvathy Thiruvothu made an impressive debut in Telugu. Prachi Desai, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Tharun Bhascker, and others were appropriate.

A new horror series. It will definitely be good to watch this series. If we want to talk about the story, then the message in the tabloid paper will tell the danger that will happen next. This is the core of this story. How Sagar is going to face this is a moving story. The screenplay could have been set up a little better. Naga Chaitanya's performance is good and the cast is very good. The technical work is excellent. Maybe a little more focus on the story. There are small errors in the story. It is a different story in the horror story and this is the success of this series. Finally this series is a super hit.

Dhootha left me disappointed due to several flaws in the investigation story:

1. The entire story, set in constant rain, seems unrealistic, possibly shot in "Chirapunji" but in vizag 2. A well-known chief editor of news paper behaves foolishly.

3. An IPS Officer relies entirely on a constable who looks like a street boy in appearance, other co constables taking orders from him calling his sir 4. The DCP lady's sharp Einstein-like brain can identify issues instantly, even events from 1962.

5. A police officer tortures an accused unnoticed in police station and easily dumps the body far away, and accepts bribes through online payment.

6. Online-ordered egg puffs for kids are delivered in old newspapers.

7. Age-old printing ink remains fresh for printing. (Maybe the ghost recently purchased it) 8. An SI wears a logo introduced in 2017 Into AP POLICE designed by Mr Surya prakash, not fitting the 1962 setting.

9. The hero's daughter Anjali's death scene appears unrealistic.

10. A SI manages the death of a sitting MLA's entire family without postmortem, even in 1962.

11. A thick old wooden door inexplicably accepts magnetism.

12. The DCP fails to provide security or protection to despite believing in an attack on the hero's pregent wife.

13. Ghost killings involve innocent people like a security guard and Priya's father.

These mistakes could have been avoided with better editing or review.

This is the best of Indian webseries I watched. They maintained the suspense throughout the series. Dark color pallet with rain background, perfect cinematography for this series. Storyline itself has suspense, horror and moral. Wonderful direction and screenplay. Naga chaitanyas role is good. Everyone did best. But all the story revolves around a person who was dead but live in action, that's the beauty of the screenplay. There is soo deapth in the story and you cant expect what will happen next. Good suspense baground score. Very nice narrative. Super season one. Eagerly waiting for season 2.
