Lex begins the first show with a letter from his mother, plus a series of sketches including a vibrating hotel room and funeral plans for a budgie. The special guest is Robert Young, performing "Happy Heart".
Lex claims he has a device that will produce a feather under any audience member that doesn't laugh at his jokes. In the sketches, situations include a prisoner who runs the jail, and a drunken husband hoping for an amorous night.
