Three generations. A diary discovered and readed by the younger member. Old secrets , refuge in faith, alcohol and visits to cemetery . Colision between generations.

A profound beautiful film, fair mix of irony, nostalgic and atmosphere of East Europe, remembering a sort of short novel by Garcia Marquez, reminding, in wise manner, simple , old truths.

The absurd humor, the rebelion of girl, the attitude of her grandparents and the refuge in visits to home of the first of father are, maybe, clues easz to understand for a specific cultural space.

Because the film has the virtue to reflect, faithful, honest, just the basic traits of a family life , hidding old secrets , living in its routine, ignoring reality , keeping the bitterness as way to protect presumed normality.

So, just beautiful film.
