The first bit of casting news for "True Blood" Season 7 has arrived, and while details are scarce, we expect to be hearing lots more about the show's final season in the new year so stay tuned!

Newcomer Brett Lorenzini (he has only one IMDb credit so far, for A Broken Code) has been cast in the part of Troy, a new character who will be seen in the premiere episode. The actor has been (re)tweeting about it, as you'll see below.

The ten-episode seventh season of "True Blood" will launch in summer 2014. The end of Season 6 jumped ahead six months, and Season 7 will serve as a bit of a reset for the series with the theme of "for every vampire, a human; for every human, a vampire." It once again examines the relationships between humans and vampires, and by putting all the characters essentially into one story, now it's Bon Temps vs.

It is always great to see actor Bill Oberst Jr. (Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies) terrorizing his fellow castmates. This time Oberst Jr. plays Vick, a man with an axe and a score to settle. Oberst Jr.'s castmates include Lynn Lowry (Cat People), Katy Foley (Disdain), Zach Silverman (A Broken Code), Tara Gerard (Lake Dead) and Suicide Girl Pandie. Each of these actors star in Water Tree Media's slasher film, Ditch Day Massacre. And, a feature length trailer for this horror title has arrived! In the trailer, Vick is seen doing terrible things. He carjacks one girl's father and beats him with a club. Later, Vick changes weapons to an axe and he chases several high schoolers. Stealth Media group is moving forward with Fangs of War, a World War II horror-actioner, November 5th.  The film is a re-imagining of Dracula and will bring principal photography then in Toronto with stars Tom Felton (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Harry Potter), Sean Clement (Flash Point) and Gia Skova (Azienda).

The lead roles of Harker and Dracula will be announced shortly.

The Nazis have Count Dracula in their grasp and are experimenting on him at the castle. A Special Forces Team is sent to retrieve Dracula without knowing what they are looking for or what horrors they will discover. The premise soon becomes clear - The Nazis want to extract the secret of immortality from Dracula; and the Allies want to stop the Nazis from achieving everlasting life.  The Soldiers simply want to survive and escape the castle.
