Geluksdal

This is a good Afrikaans movie and a great cast with out them this would have been a disaster.Estelle zeeman,Nick DE jager,Jan Bruyns and Georg Ballot. Like many other old Afrikaans movies this was based on a springbok Radio story. Jan Laurens(Nick DE Jager) an engineer goes to Geluksdal to build a dam everyone is for it but Pinkie(Estelle zeeman) and her Father Ou koos (Jan bruyns) doesn't want the dam because it is going to flood their home land. Lourens has a huge obstacle in its way because the are not going to sell. And through time Lourens realizes that money isn't everything and sometimes things does not go as planned and that love is found in mysterious ways. This movie is good and romantic give it a watch
