The lead actresses is a woman in her last years of fertility trying to get pregnant. There is a lot of potential to explore her connection with babies, her commitment to being a mom and her search for a decent partner. The only emphasis was on the partner.
The plot and the characters introduction were rushed and I didn't have time to connect to Jaclyn. After few minutes the movie turned into a collection of short romcom episodes. The characters and themes in the movie weren't evolving during these intimate encounters, in fact you can replace the order of encounters and the movie would look the same. The ending was rushed as well since the random encounters filled the whole time. This is a movie, it is a collection of short episodes that have 10 minutes of introduction and conclusion.
I also enjoyed the movie- the scenarios were funny and some of them had moral and insight (mostly from the antagonist though). I was laughing and enjoying the movie and simultaneously rooting for the antagonist.
The protagonist herself didn't do any self reflection besides the last few minutes of the movie, and she was lying and manipulating the partners, including intentionally sabotaging birth control accessories. Jaclyn has no remorse throughout the movie and I found it really hard to have empathy towards her.
The hospital security guard ask her to move the car out of the ICU entrance and she was being rude to him and showed him the middle finger- that sums up her character. She has no accountability, no remorse, she doesn't care about anything besides herself. I don't enjoy a movie where I dislike the main character.

So many people trashing this movie. Did you read the preview? Watch the trailer? How could you expect anything different. Low budget beating alot of other bombs out there, and trust me I checked in advance. Mildly funny, a few laughs, the Goldblum impersonation was great. What was up with Rob Cordy being the responsible one? 100 others out there just like this, it passed a Monday evening for me, no complaints. And girlfriend got what she was asking for with that ending. This review is asking me to provide 90 more characters in order to submit, I'm not sure how much more i can say, it is what it is.
This movie was mindless entertainment. Not awful, just not great. Lots of good actors.
One giant complaint is the soundtrack is SO LOUD thru most of the movie it's really distracting and sometimes overshadows the actors words. Who ever edited this did a HORRENDOUS JOB. I really don't understand how this was released in this state because it's brutally apparent how terrible and inconsistent the sound is. I'm not sure if they just started editing and saw how bad the movie was so just gave up and didn't spend anymore time or money on it. Again it's a shame because I like a lot of the actors and was looking for a mindless movie to watch however having to turn the volume up and down just to get through the movie. Do better.

Why is it they can't seem to make a funny movie anymore? The storyline was basically ripped off from the Jennifer Aniston movie, The Switch (perhaps the reason for incorporating her name into this story?). This has some funny parts, but overall it was just a poorly-written dud. The only part I actually laughed at was Jerry O'Connel touching Malin's face. In fact, Jerry surprised me that he had the ability to have a comedic moment. Overall, it often felt contentious and tense; it was like watching a party where you definitely would want to leave early. So many cringy moments with bad lines and stupidity. They couldn't even get the ending right.

If you're as big of a fan of Rob Corrdry shows like Childrens Hospital as I am you'll be disappointed here. Despite having the all star comedic cast that we've seen in series like Burning Love and Medical Police, there are no laughs here. Looks like the writer/director has no apparent connection to this group of comedians/actors from before. Not according to his credits so i dont know how he assembled them, only to squander their talents with this hard to watch movie. Its way too serious to come across as comedy, even though its ridiculous at times. I read Medical Police might have a season 2 so let's forget this flick and look for that.
I knew what I was getting into when I clicked on this. The premise doesn't pretend to be anything other than terrible, so what you see is what you get. If you're in the mood for dirty, gross humour, you're in the right place. Look no further.
I love that Jerry O'Connell makes terrible movies. This is one of his best worst movies. Think Tomcats, but better at being worse.
If you're expecting the finest acting in an Oscar-bait artistic film, you know you're not gonna get it.
This is best viewed on a date night after a couple of wines and a charcuterie board, because there's plenty of cheese going on here. Bravo!

It's dull, badly written, boring, not in the slightest bit funny or even amusing. The characters are all unlikable, the script is poor (I'm trying to kind) in fact I genuinely cannot think of a positive? Even the acting was plain irritating. How on earth this film got produced is stupefying. Many films are so bad they're actually great fun but this is just Meh!! Pleaze, don't ignore the reviews on here, it genuinely is as bad, dull, mind numbing, sleep inducing, unlikable, completely non endearing waste of 1he and 33mins of your life. I seldom write reviews but I needed to get this off my chest. I feel better now. Time to watch a good film!

It was an interesting film that brought the desperation of a woman that is losing her battle with time and how that leads to a crazy situation.
Overall I thought this film had some funny moments. It is definitely tailored for an adult audience but does not have much of any nudity or graphic scenes. I think it speaks to the heart of the midlife of womanhood and the unapologetic means as to which a woman will go to in order to fulfill herself.
Of course this subject is taboo to the society at large as we find it difficult to understand how someone could go outside of the norms to have a child, but that is what movies are for. They explore the extremes and add comedy to them.
If you have 90 minutes for a light, funny, and thought provoking film I would suggest to give this a try. I don't think this got a fair shake.

You go girl - no pun intended. Is this an instant classic comedy? No - but is it light fun to watch? I would argue that it very much is exactly that. And with the actors on board ... it really is entertaining. Feels like the script is tight too and it does not hold its punches. US movies usually stray away from the ... let's call it saucy stuff - and it's not like you will get stuff here, that will get you hot and bothered (well very unlikely, also scenes are way too short, but hey, whatever floats your boat) ... but it shows a woman going for it.
Or coming for it I guess ... now is it morally questionable? You bet! Is it a movie and have male characters done and been portrayed in way more nefarious circumstances? Again a resounding yes! Just sit back and enjoy a comedy that dares ... and teases ... and finishes off ... well not all - but enough! So no pun intended - unless you can't take it up ... the jokes that is.

It's official good comedy writing is dead. This was a terribly long, boring and unnecessary movie. The comedy was just vulgar and stupid. There seems be a cancer within Hollywood for the last decade, as writers, directors, producers are unable to grasp what audiences want to see. There is a reason why so many of us keep having to rewatch our old favourite comedies. A woman tricking men into having sex just for sperm. What the hell is this message you're sending out to impressionable young women. And then to end the movie by shaming the woman publicly. A very American take on how women speak and look. Was the movie supposed to be relatable or fantasy? It's a shame because the cast was at a good age to have relatable comedic jokes for a wide audience.

After reading so many bad reviews, I knew I had to step in and defend this really funny movie. Luckily, the trailer sets the film up exactly so you know what you are in for. Is the protagonist making some questionable choices? Yes, absolutely! But it is a comedy film and not a self-help life lesson. The trick is to not take the film seriously. The main character can also be somewhat of an antihero, as well. The story line in the beginning moves fast, but it's because all of the laughs and gags occur during the main party scene where most of the events take place. I thought the acting was great and the choice of actors worked really well. If you don't think about the morals of the movie too hard, you will find yourself cackling and laughing at the hilarious predicaments that the main character finds herself in. No spoilers, but I also love that the film stayed true to its storyline with an ending that was satisfying and not cliché romcom. This is not Bridget Jones, and it didn't deserve to have a Bridget Jones-style ending. It was definitely a thumbs up on my stream list, and a good laugh on an otherwise slow weeknight.

In cheap, lame, forgettable, wannabe #metoo-comedy "The Donor Party" Malin Akerman (Cameron Diaz-lite) is desperate to get pregnant before it's too late, so friends Bria Henderson & Erinn Hayes (decent again) set her up with various one night stands: all at the birthday party of the latter's unknowing husband (Rob Corddry) at their swanky home with guests including Ryan Hansen, Jerry O'Connell, Jeff Torres (amusing), Cedric Yarbrough, Jon Daly & Dan Ahdoot. What could possibly go wrong? Throw in a clichéd accidental roofying (really?) and it's clear the level debut writer / director Thom Harp was shooting his load at - and sadly he stoops down to hit it.

Not sure why Hollywood thinks it is cool to make a movie about a woman who wants to desperately get pregnant so she goes to a party so she can meet men to seduce. The lady pokes holes in a condom so she can get pregnant by a stranger. And let's not talk about the lady who puts drugs in someone's drink without the person knowing. I would have rated the movie higher, maybe 6 stars, if those things didn't happen in the movie. Not sure why the person who wrote the movie thought it was cool to give people who watch the movie the idea to trick someone into getting them pregnant by poking holes in a condom.

Good ol' reliable Admiral Ackbar predicted this one decades ago, and yet, here we are. A woman whose biological time-bomb is running out is desperate to have a baby, yet failed to establish a proper relationship in time.
What an idiotic premise for a comedy movie, when baby-trapping and false paternity claims are rampant in today's society. Good cast, for the most part, wasted on a terrible script. Hopefully. They got compensated enough to be in this embarrassment.
I wonder how funny Thom Harp (the writer) would find it if it turned out that one or more of his three kids weren't actually his? Ha ha, right?

It's took me 3 goes to get through it as I kept falling asleep. This was over 3 days. Finally I watched it all. It's not really LOL funny. It's just kind of cringe like you can't look away.
I'm reminded of Peter Sellers in The Party. Now that's a pretty funny movie. If you're going to have a movie set over the length of one night there are far better than this film.
I didn't like how utterly tame and tense the party was. The premise kept it going for me. Mainly to see how she was going to lure the next donor into position(s). ;)
There are some interesting moments like with the artist that was at least something different.

This is a funny movie and so many reviews sound offended by the premise of the movie. So dumb! If we wanted to get into it, in a time when women's choice to have a baby or not is being taken away, why is it so offensive that this movie showcases one proactively making a baby? Lol men spread their love all over all the time, in movies and real life and nobody blinks twice. So what if this show has a spin on that! This is no different than a million other movies where men mislead women into sleeping with them... HUNDREDS! It's a fun watch and new spin on comedy. Lighten up people, most bad reviews are probably dudes thinking "how dare they" lol!

This movie entertained me for it's entire duration. Like stay up until 2am entertained. I was curious to see how the main character went about her adventures, and if she'd carry through with them. I think the writing for this movie was clever and well done. There are clever and funny moments, and I laughed. The lesbian friend is hilarious, and her timing is spot on too. This film wasn't stupid and cheesy like so many others out there. I can see how someone may be offended by the premise, but it's a movie.. it's not real! No one is harmed and it's all in good fun. Rob Corddry is great in just about anything he's in too.
