Coral made her debut on the Feb. 12 episode of The Masked Singer Season 13 as a member of Group A. The sultry sea creature's first song on Fox's reality TV show was “Mad World” by Tears for Fears, and she had the four panelists guessing such famous names as Carly Rae Jepsen, Sabrina Carpenter, and Halsey.
For her second performance she sang "Accidentally in Love" by Counting Crows, which had the panelists spout off additional guesses like Dove Cameron, Hailee Steinfeld, and Lili Reinhart. Her third song, “Luck Be a Lady” by Frank Sinatra, snagged guesses like Victoria Justice, Rachel Zegler, and Camila Mendes.

In 2018, A Quiet Place proved that there can be some blockbuster potential in these “monsters invade earth and take over” stories. Alien Invasion’s really needed sprucing up and monsters with a gimmick seem to be the most intriguing solution. While the monsters in A Quiet Place were sound-dependent, murdering whatever moves, the monsters in Elevation are drawn to CO2 and can’t go above 8000 ft. It’s a bit less relatable in that “put yourself in their shoes” way but it means we get a post-apocalyptic movie set in the mountains versus solely deserted suburban towns. This makes for some absolutely stunning visuals. But as you can see from my review, not much else worked.
As someone who lived out in Colorado for 7 years, I had to ask the cast about their timing filming in the Colorado Mountains. Anyone who’s been in high elevation understands how hard physical...

Last year, producer/director Louisa Warren announced that she was working on two fractured fairy tale horror movies, Cinderella’s Curse and Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre. Now our friends at Bloody Disgusting have revealed that Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre has been given a VOD release – but it’s not called Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre anymore. The movie can be found on VOD under the title Ouija Castle, and if you want to watch it on Amazon, it’s at This Link. A trailer for the film can be viewed in the embed above.
Coming our way from ChampDog Films and filmed in Scotland, Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre / Ouija Castle was scripted by Jasmine Ebony Thomas and tells the following story: The beautiful Princess Thalia is thrown to ruins after her father’s mysterious death. She lives with Prince Edison who she is in love with but can no longer marry since losing her status.

Fortnite is probably the most well-known video game of the current generation and it is due to the creativity and collaborative nature of Epic Games. The live service title has done plenty and the recent teases are hinting that the next one could come from above.
The gaming community is very intuitive and can guess what the developers will throw at the players next, and content inspired by extraterrestrials is an exciting idea. Epic Games does not shy away from crazy and wacky ideas and could spike the player count again.
An Alien Invasion Is Imminent in Fortnite
The world of Fortnite is about to welcome visitors from the regions of outer space.
It is often easy to identify or figure out the next big thing in a live-service video game, especially when developers casually sprinkle a few Easter eggs. Several accounts are now posting the same image of Human...

For years, we’ve heard rumors that Grand Theft Auto 5 was supposed to receive multiple single-player Dlc expansions that were ultimately canceled. We now know that at least one of those Dlc expansions was both real and spectacular.
During a recent Q&A stream, Steve Ogg (who portrayed Trevor in GTA 5) revealed that he voiced a few scenes for a GTA 5 expansion that he referred to as “James Bond Trevor.” According to Ogg, the Dlc would have seen Trevor go undercover for the FBI as part of an undisclosed operation. While Ogg describes Trevor as “still kind of a fuck up” at that point in his life, he says the character would have “done his best to pretend to be like [a secret agent].”
Ogg didn’t share many additional details about the scrapped Dlc’s plot, but he did mention that the idea was to take the story (and therefore Trevor) to some pretty wild places.

We have seen time and time again how Netflix can be a place where movies and shows get rediscovered. It is also a place where shows and movies can become extremely popular through word of mouth — mostly because Netflix's own marketing efforts aren't enough to rival traditional Hollywood studios. This is how something like "Stranger Things" became a phenomenon, and how "Suits" got a new chance at life. Video stores might be dead, but that hasn't stopped audiences from discovering things they might have otherwise missed.
Such is the case with a new Korean thriller series making waves and climbing up the Netflix charts. "Parasyte: The Grey" is the new show from Yeon Sang-ho, director of "Train to Busan" and "Hellbound." It adapts Hitoshi Iwaaki's best-selling manga, which is about a high schooler facing an alien invasion after a parasite tries to take over his brain but instead manages only to infect his arm.

Alien invasion stories have been a standard part of film and television for quite some time. Be it Independence Day, Pacific Rim, or even Avengers, blockbusters and science fiction television have always had a place to comfortably market stories about heroic teams coming together to beat a sufficiently advanced extraterrestrial threat.

However, it seems that Netflix has decided to attempt to break the mold with its latest offering, 3 Body Problem, which is an adaptation of the seminal science fiction novel by Chinese author Liu Cixin. It can be assumed that the team behind the show, led by D.B.Weiss and David Benioff, actually managed to pull it off, as a recommendation to watch the show has come straight from the X handle of Hideo Kojima.

Stars: Sarah T. Cohen, Amber Doig-Thorne, May Kelly, Benjamin Colbourne, Nikolai Leon, Matthew Baunsgard, Richard Kovacs, Leah Glater, Bao Tieu | Written by Craig McLearie | Directed by Fred Searle
What’s that? Sarah T. Cohen, Amber Doig-Thorne And May Kelly all starring together in another Scott Jeffrey production? Colour me intrigued… This trio are three of the best performers Jeffrey has “discovered” over the years and they’re all together in one film. Ok, Ok, so it’s a film written by Craig McLearie, who hasn’t exactly captured the magic of 2021’s Jagged Edge/Proportion Productions era with his scripts, but one can but hope right?
Let’s get this out of the way first, Alien Invasion is Such an on-the-nose title. Like seriously, you couldn’t have come up with something a little more subtle? But then when your production company has made films with titles like Snake Hotel...

Life on the farm aint easy, but it’s a hell of a lot harder when you’ve got flying saucers in your backyard! 2023’s newest sci-fi horror flick No One Will Save You, written, directed, and produced by Brian Duffield (Spontaneous), serves up a gripping story set in a quiet town facing a cosmic threat, all with nearly no dialog.
Right out of the gate, this movie stands out with its unique approach. It tosses a mere five words of dialogue into its 93-minute runtime, making it a fascinating experiment in visual storytelling. In a world of endless chatter, this film challenges itself to do more with less.
Leading the charge is Kaitlyn Dever as the relentlessly resourceful and un-abductable Brynn. a character that could give classic ’80s Final Girls one helluva high-five. Dever’s facial expressions and body language paint the picture of Brynn’s journey, from her...

Writer/director Brian Duffield has only directed two films so far, but he’s already starting to carve out a specific niche. He’s a filmmaker who loves to take these character-driven, emotional stories and put them against the backdrop of genre. This is seen with the love story at the center of “Spontaneous,” a film where teens are literally exploding, or in his new movie, “No One Will Save You,” which is a film about a young woman feeling isolated and alone and has to deal with an alien invasion.

Invasion, Apple TV+’s science fiction epic, returns to screens on August 23 with its second season. Now is the right time to binge season 1 and be grateful that you don’t have to wait two years to find out what happens next. For those viewers who’ve seen the show and need a refresher (and everyone else who is just curious), here’s a recap of what happened in Invasion season 1.
The Alien Invasion Begins … Slowly
With its dramatic scope and global perspective, the show explores the first week of the aftermath of mysterious events that leave Earth forever changed. Chaos and confusion reign, and it takes a few days for humans across the globe to realize that the jagged-metal meteor showers, power outages, and communication disruptions are caused by extraterrestrial forces.

The episode of Revisited covering Species was Written by Ric Solomon, Narrated by Kier Gomes, Edited by Joseph Wilson, Produced by Lance Vlcek and John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
The 1990s were famous for Alien Invasion films. Independence Day, The X-Files Movie, Alien 3 and Mars Attacks all come to mind. Yes, those are all great but what about Roger Donaldson’s classic 1995 creature feature Species (watch it Here)? Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is the beautiful Natasha Henstridge and this being her first acting role. She’s an absolute terror and force to be reckoned with here. Species is something of a cult classic and one we need to talk about. So, on this episode of Horror Revisited, let’s dive back into one of the better Sci-fi 90s films.
