A most special moment from the movie that saved the cinema back in 2022, "Top Gun: Maverick", comes a sort of re-reading/recreation of a classic moment from the 1986 film, the famous singing bit with the crowd, led by Goose (Anthony Edwards) performing Jerry Lee Lewis' hit song "Great Balls of Fire". Now, it's time for Goose's son Rooster (Miles Teller) to sing along with his mates and introduce the tune to a new generation.
It's all fun, enthusiastic and great to see, just like the full movie and its countless tributes to the classic film directed by Tony Scott. It's full of heart and soul, and it was a nice way for the studio to promote the film and part of its soundtrack, which also had the rock n'roll hits from the first film. 10/10.
