Depraved Mind

Great character study and very strong performances by all the leads.

A lot to take in and think about, and few things still with me after the screening. Glad I got to see it on the big screen, as I'm guilty of watching too much on my phone these days.

Don't want to give anything away, but let's just say there are layers here. I think a second viewing would be fun within one.

I found myself asking a lot of the questions brought up by the main characters and my answers were very different. I miss the chat boards on IMDb, because this would make for a great thread to hear everyone's answers.

Need to watch a second time when out on dvd or streaming service.

A lot of layers to this one. First half was a little slow, it was taking its time to get things moving. But fine dialogue and questioning happening. Second part picked up like a crazy! Ok, so no spoiler alert or anything but more twists and turns all the way until the end of the film. Worth the ride.

Seemed like it had a decent budget but isn't really like a mainstream film or anything. This was more indie film for people who like: thrillers and puzzle movies like Seven or Memento. It took a chance to do something different and if you like what it did then you will really like this film. Hard to not give anything away!
