The writing is so shallow that even great performances cant save this series.
The show has so many similarities with Tabbar but never reaches those levels. The script is just made to revolve around establishing grey shade around Boman's character.
Overall 3 hrs show watch only if you are Masoom to digest this weak script.

This is a sadistic pleasure story, irrespective of story telling i Don't recommend, because this world needs a love and creativity not a story on obtaining sadistic pleasure.

Truth is not simple, it is complex. The story is one of the best written in a long time and even more brilliantly directed. It engages you into believing what it isn't - a thriller. Yes this web series is not a thriller however, it is set up like a thriller because that is how we uncover the truth. Each emotion is portrayed with care and compassion and that is the beauty of this show- it gives you time to empathize with its characters. Classy performance by Boman Irani, his character is relatable yet very layered and played with finesse by him. The supporting cast has done a commendable job by supporting the storyline with really good effort. Samara has done good considering this being her debut, would love to see her more. The best part about the show were its poetries and songs. I hope hotstar releases the entire album on youtube like grahan.

There is no intensity what the trailers and the poster shows
The story is simple of a disturbed family where every member is struggling with their problems..the series goes very slow where it starts with a murder and ends on the murder..Boman has played as usual nothing new or great..miss tijori has played very well
The series is dragged for 6 episodes for a small and simple cause..the painful emotions are missing which is the core subject of this series
I think SHE season 2 will be a good option.

What an incredible show! It's not for the faint of heart, and definitely not for lazy viewing. You can't miss a moment.
The story delves into the depths of mental illness and trauma and the humanness of evil, among other things. It holds a mirror to your soul and makes you confront ugly and uncomfortable truths that most of us would rather keep untouched. Some aspects of the show definitely made me very uncomfortable - and I love that because it's very real. This show builds mystery very skillfully and as it all unfolds, things get murkier and darker and the show does absolute justice to the build-up.
The supreme skill with which this show has been written shows in how effortlessly it blurs the line between real life and fiction. I would love to believe that these things could never actually happen, but given the right set of circumstances, it's not even improbable. Boman Irani's incredible acting skill has been utilised spectacularly and Samara Tijori seems to be a promising prospect. Manjari Fadnnis delivered a pretty good performance as well.
Kudos to the direction, editing, and production teams - it really couldn't have been made better!

The storyline is totally stupid. Super boring. Totally regret watching it. Acting is ok ok. In all it was total waste of time. Watch at your own risk 😀

This program is very insensitive and an insult to sikh values . Kirtan with no headcover . Please do research before making TV based on punjab , tabbar on sonyliv is a better example . Cast is very commercial who have put in no effort be in real character. Boman is disappointing, Ms Tijori is equally bad. Casting fail . Plot is catchy and interesting. Even Aamir Khan making effort in Lal singh chadda with gandi wali punjabi.

Starts a bit slowly, but with time gets more intense. The casting is brilliant. Boman Irani, Samara Tijori & Upasana Singh are really good. Not as gripping as 'Tabbar', but still it's a must watch.

Unnecessarily dragged the series. You will loose Interest after 2 Episode itself. Acting is good but script is not worth. Poor Direction. You will get bore.

Masoom is a mystery show directed by mihir desai. These are the positives and negatives.
Boman irani as balraj kapoor has given an outstanding performance. The character is grey, it has different shades and he portrays them all. Samara tijori is a talented prospect. As sana, she delivers her goods. She portrays a depressed character ailing from familial tensions. Upasana singh has done all types of comic roles but given a serious character she pulls it with ease. Specially in the last episode she acts to her credentials. Manjari faddnis and other co-actors do a good job. Basically everyone has a tense life.
The writing is pretty good actually. The characters are etched out really well. Everyone is going through a turmoil and everyone being good actors do a very good job. Its a slow burn so if you expect some adrenaline rush you are signing in for a wrong ride. It builds up its characters, its world, its atmosphere and then unfolds the mystery. The screenplay is slow but never gets boring. It never feels stretched.
The music and background score is exceptionally good. The punjabi songs are created with so much care and melody. It fits the world and gives you a good time. The bgm is very different from what we hear usually these days. A very sad, mystic undertone is played which gives a very eerie vibe to the show. There is some punjabi poetry as well. I am not a punjabi but its so well written that i don't feel alien to the language. I am anyway a sucker for good poetry irrespective of language.
The cinematography is excellent. The shots have such a rustic feeling. It almost feels pale, the world. The colour changes so brilliantly when the sequence shifts from present to when the mother was alive. From a yellow shade it turns to something we can call heavenly brown. Also it has set up a base for a second season as well.
Masoom is a must watch. If you liked tabbar you would definitely like this. I rate it 10 out of 10.

Thought it is gonna be a thriller, but ended with such disappointment, story was dragged to hell. Exceptional performance by Boman Irani also can't save the storyline, we don't want this kinda story telling in the world we are living now, watched the series and feeling sad about it... Please dont watch this one.. It can easily spoil ur good mood.

Yesterday watched Salt City and Today Masoom, wow! What a weekend. Should I talk about story line, beautiful cinematography, excellent songs and poetry, exceptional acting skill of Boman Irani and Upasna Singh or good debut by Samara Tijori? I have no words to praise them. I must say Upasna Singh's acting is a surprise element. Must watch and good Punjabi based webseries after Tabber.
Amazing storyline and, class performance by boman irani,,every character played the roles beautifully,, just loved the thrill, will wait for season 2.
Only 1 episode is out right now and I have watched it and it's amazing, I think this show won't disappoint anyone and also can we embrace the fact that Disney hotstar has so many great shows which are based on thriller and suspense, I mean first criminal justice, then special ops and many more. #mustwatch.

A fantastic show , beautifully performed, written and directed.. a sort of slow burn that stays with you afterwards. After a long time I've seen a show on OTT that isn't loud and rushed and isn't trying to hammer the lingo or plot into our heads, and is quite unlike most Indian ott shows. Must watch!!

The story of a.family driven apart due to miscommunications. It has layers of complexities. The casting is superb and so is the cinematography. Samara Tijori plays her maiden role with aplomb. Gripping narrative. Short and effective series.

Family dynamics are often complicated and every family comes with its secrets... The show travels through the dynamics of the very complex yet very relatable Kapoor family in the wake of the death of their matriarch. Heartwarming, emotional and very well told story! Boman Irani is ofcourse brilliant but so is Samara Tijori in her portrayal of Sana Kapor.

Binge watched Masoom on Disney Plus Hotstar. This family mystery drama keeps you intrigued. The story revolves around a dysfunctional family. There are secrets, lies and a protective father who is misunderstood.
Brilliant performances and some lovely music hold this drama together. A terrific Boman Irani steals the show delivering his best performance yet. One of the best family dramas in recent times.

NOT RUN OF THE MILL WHODUNNIT
Truly a very well crafted series! Deep, poignant characters embrace their flaws and the narrative unfolds at a steady pace giving insights into deep rooted patriarchy family dynamics.
The series is extremely well shot and the juxtaposition of human turmoil against rich green fields and grey skies adds to the texture of the series.
Overall, a must watch!

Brilliant show, great story line, amazing actors. Great great casting! Special appreciation for Samara Tijori, her 1st OTT and she nailed it. We need to see Samara in more shows.
Masoom navigates the labyrinth of flawed human relationships through the sudden demise of a family member! What follows is a surprising narrative full of twists and turns told at a steady pace! The ending is surprising and unpredictable!
The performances are flawless, the direction is very steady and captures turmoil in a very realistic manner.
The series is extremely well written and the characters have a depth which is very refreshing. Over 6 episodes the series is very binge worthy and an enjoyable watch.
