This was not at all what I was expecting after Nathan For You. This show was just incredible.
I teared up multiple times in this episode. The ending left me with all this emotion. Its profound really.
I hope The Rehearsal wins an Emmy. It's so deserving.

This episode was the icing on the cake. Their are so many morals this episode dives into that Nathan was able to take us on a journey I just was not expecting. The season finale was definitely the bail in the coffin for making this show a one of a kind. He has done it again for making a masterpiece but this time taking the route of a drama rather than comedy. 10/10 episode and will be a surreal 30 minute episode that will teach you things you didn't know you needed to learn. Thanks Nathan for this work of art.
This show has surpassed my expectations to a whole new level. I love Nathan for you, in fact, it's my favourite show of all time. But "The Rehearsal" hit a lot more deep and had some shocking themes about everyday life problems that lots can relate to. This finale was also perfect (just like the show as a whole) because it goes beyond comedy. It has a theme about regret and what Nathan could have done differently when the kid he got attached to really saw him as a father figure. It's heartbreaking actually, but also very raw, genius, and insanely well done. I know for a fact this show will be a cult classic in the future. 10/10.
I really loved Nathan for you for how it explored the idea of giving a business owner a second chance to rebuild their establishment and succeed by taking risk no matter how bizarre or unethical the methods would be. When I seen The Rehearsal on HBO Max I was really entertained by episodes such as "Orange Juice, No Pulp", "Scion" and "The Fielder Method". Unfortunately what starts as charming and creative turns into a huge problem with a big ordeal on religion and Nathan completely abandons the show's premise to divulge in his own embarrassing attempt at being a dad. The whole episode made me cringe over and over again and was a pain to sit through, I honestly believe Nathan fielder should not be allowed around kids, whether they are actors or not he isn't suitable to be a parent with his disgusting behavior.
