Tamil Rockerz is thrilling and engaging take on world of piracy. We all know it is difficult to stop piracy in this age and that chase between the authorities/film industry/police officials is nicely depicted. The end also left you to wait for the next season. A good one time watch.

This web series is above average. If you dont have anything to watch then watch this, otherwise ignore it.

Dubbed should have been improved. Average dubbing in hindi. And this series's videography looks like the director or the team directing it is new.

Overall nice concept but should have put more efforts on action and other aspects. Direction is not good. Characters sometimes confuse.

If you want to know the story behind piracy then you should watch this as a documentary.

A couple of stringent issues aside; this series does a decent job of providing an interesting insight into the world of pirated content! The script not only gave us a clear idea about how this stuff operates worldwide but it also strived to initiate a dialogue regarding the monetary damage inflicted by such misconducts.

And there go all the positives that I can think of; apart from them, there's not much to talk about. The screenplay is horrendously paced with scenes pushing to their limits oftentimes! The technological sides are passable as long as you endorse the kind of tonality the creators had gone after here; which is, to be frank, an odd mixture consisting of elements from both arthouse and mainstream styles of filmmaking.

I was quite excited for this series as it deals with film and film piracy. Though the topic is interesting they didn't execute it properly. There are so many negative points. The series is very lengthy with too much unnecessary scenes & lines here and there.

Writing material is something like the writer has always tried to spoon feed the audience. Flashback scenes were quite repetitive, I had to forward in many scenes. Last episode was quite engaging and thrilling. In acting, I liked Vinodhini Vaidynathan & Arun Vijay.

Overall, it's a below average series for me.

The romance element spoiled the thrill but the series is decent to pique the mind. I liked it because I knew very little about TR (thanks to Malayalam films about Premam's Piracy).

But, it had exaggerated sob stories and long monologues.

The concept was good but the making was horrible. It is so slow and feels boring sometimes. It would have been better if it was made as a movie.

And Arun Vijay is under-utilized.

Arun Vijay, awesome as always ! Series is profound and close to reality. A must watch thriller that will motivate you to leave piracy but you won't leave af.

It's one of the best web series on Sony LIV. I don't know whether it's a true story or not but the content was absolute quality. The plot revolves around pirated movies that's released online by a group of people which disturbs the hard work of cast and crew of a film. Arun Vijay as police inspector did his best to make his charecter lively . The web series shows how piracy has changed over the years from CD/DVD to leaking content online . The web series also puts a suspicion on some people associated with the film industry who leaks the film for substantial amount to outsiders. The twist in the end will make you watch the next part if and when it's released .

Series could have been good but in between they keep ko lecturing audience and shows life of people having job in industry. They wanted the movie to be class room for people but i hatted that part. Which made tge Series forgettable. I had to press forward several times during boring lectures.

A powerful concept and kinda new content in a way, I'm pretty sure that this content if it would've been presented in a short & crisp manner as a feature film, might become a super one.

The VCD/CD era, which has been more than 15 years has been portrayed very well with a nice drama & vengeance, love, thrill, and suspense elements all merged in nicely.

But these guys took it as a series and it looked like watching a tv serial in many portions which made us feel like watching a mediocre drama subject with below-average making, most of the scenes didn't have any depth at all and could've been easily trimmed, at the end it felt like having wasted 6+ hours of time, although we've watched one phenomenon that has threatened(still is) the entire film industry.

A lot of time was wasted in love story and in fans..a deep execution with darkness was expected with some Hindi series stars

I hope the next season comes with hard hitting execution.

A gang who used to upload new movies and make hectic for film producers... Once they had challenged that going to upload a high budjet and star actor movie before it gets releasing... The cybercrime police are try to stop them meanwhile producers are take effort to stop it.. Few episodes are not thrilling and quite confusing.. Flashbacks are not soo impressive.. Few logics are unacceptable... One time watchable series..!!

I Was started to watch this series a little bit boring & time passing. After few episodes it's gone unstoppable. Great effort to view their(cinema workers) pain, reality in a single shot. Need to watch everyone.... And respect their hardwork & life. Actually not only Tamilrockers website reveals the movies. There are many peoples doing the same even in OTT platforms. In this series only showing local peoples are the network. But the exact story starteded from the beginning is not showing to all of us. In chennai Richi street, & Parrys corner area crimes should be showing ellobrately. Ok am eagerly waiting for part II.

Mind-blowing the meaning of making this webseries is very clear & well dark world created by film makers waiting for the second season badly I'm a unique concept lover the performance of the rudra was quite good let's see when will we got season Rudra vs Chinna.

Series on Tamilrockers was a great plot but wasted with the same story telling which is going on since decade. It was engaging till episode 6 and after that it follows the same boring treatment. It felt like replace the gang with a gang who is a dealing with drug, gold smuggling, and still it will be similar. It was handled in a same manner.

Was expecting alot from it but disappointed.

Director arivazghan (who worked earlier with shankar) , has researched about tamil rockers very well the way he represented characters was very subjective, the timeline of tamil rockerzz explained very well , why tamil rockerz came and how they operate , how some people who dont like other director films helps Tamil rockerz to get into piracy, how tamil rockerz distribution operates was viewed very good

I used to download movies from tamil rockerz , earlier times boot legging content releases on first day and after 2 days hd print released same represented in web series also very Well done i really enjoyed

Some scenes in episodes are boring and family drama, you can skip those scenes , some scenes are very real you can check in google

The making could have been improved a little more. The climax fight and cuts seemed very bad. Arun Vijay's performance is the biggest plus point.. The rest of the casting feels just okay. That's it. Arun vijay has done your role in the best way. The plot is predictable as to where it will end,Even then yet some unnecessary scenes seemed to be cut and stretched a bit lag and slow. However, it is a predictable series that you can watch once if you want. Didnt suggest if you are busy person. If you are tottally free you have so much free time You Can Watch it. Thats all. Totally Just An Average Series.
