Not sure why this is titled as "I am Sam" on IMDB, but when I saw it on Viki it was called "I Am Your Teacher", so someone must have changed the name for some reason. The first 2 episodes were extremely hard for me to watch. Truth be told, I only put it on my watch list because Lee Min-ho was in it. I give him 10 stars for his supporting role, but to be true to reviewing only gave the series itself 7 stars. I am a little behind on K-Drama, being from the US and only found Lee Min-ho featured in the US a couple of times, so searched on Viki for a few more to watch from years ago. I understand he just started his career when this came out and was a supporting cast member, not lead, so it wasn't until the 3rd episode until he was introduced. No problem with that, however I couldn't deal with the spider scenes as I am one of those people that can' look at it and it was literally making me sick to have it on and thought of deleting it completely and forgetting about it. Stuck it out a little longer and at first thought the teacher character was going to be a struggle to watch too, but then he starts to pull you in as his character develops and you start to laugh as he becomes completely humorous with his bumbling idiotic ways that get him into these humorous compromising situations all the time. I could imagine him being a hit on Saturday Night Live years ago with this character. The other reason I gave this series only a 7 is that the female lead, who I finally recognized (she was so young looking because of the age of the drama didn't recognize her at first), had 4 guys that had crushes on her - Teach, the principles son, the punk, Mr. Kim her arranged fiancé and there was not 1 kiss from any of them that I remember so there was no romance in the way of at least 1 kiss for the lead out of all the guys. It was a humorous K-Drama though thanks to the Teach, and he makes the series for sure. Then I had to endure that darn spider again when they brought it back in the later episodes near the end.
