In order to accurately and truly present the local conditions and customs of Tibet, director Guoxing Chen, together with the screenwriter team, had polished for three years.
The tall horses, old jeeps and other props appearing in the film were all transported from Inner Mongolia and other places, and most of the villages and houses filmed were above 4800 meters above sea level. Due to altitude sickness, director Guoxing Chen inhaled oxygen throughout the entire process, and nearly one-third of the crew underwent rotation.
