I've watched my fair shares of terrible movies, and I could a 100% say this was by far one of my top 5 worst movies of all time.

A generous 1/10 is too kind for this cinematic catastrophe. Watching this film is like voluntarily subjecting yourself to a cinematic nightmare.

The plot just honestly full of holes and confusion, with characters making decisions that defy all logic. The dialogue is cringe-inducing, filled with lines that sound like they were randomly generated by a computer program attempting to mimic human conversation. The cinematography is a just a mess, leaving you questioning the director's sanity, and don't get me started on the lighting.

Even the soundtrack seems to be actively working against the audience's enjoyment, with jarring choices that make you wish for the sweet release of silence. It's astonishing how a movie could manage to get every single element so wrong. This isn't just a film to avoid; it's a cautionary tale for future filmmakers on how not to create a cinematic experience. Save your precious time for anything else - literally anything else.

An effective stalk n' slash thriller that has a likeable lead and some tense chase scenes. The concept is fairly unique (I haven't seen it done before) and the xecution is pretty good, considering the obvious budget restrictions.

The film doesn't skimp on the red stuff - throats are splashily cut or punctured and in one particularly gnarly scene, one victim is disemboweled. The lead actress is really good and likeable, and the killer is suitably menacing.

I saw the other 1 star review for this film and I'm not sure what they were watching or expecting - if you're looking for 90 minutes of enjoyable cat-and-mouse slasher fun where you can switch your brain off and just enjoy the carnage, you can do a lot worse than Bad Connection.
