The year is 1989. In an era of Palestinian demands for independence, the State of Israel sends young soldiers to oversee the Palestinian population in the Occupied Territories. After one of them is killed, the common fate of four young soldiers and one Palestinian family is sealed. This film depicts a harsh reality from a human perspective, portraying the individuals literally caught in the crossfire of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict. Set in 1989, during the first intifada, the film follows Tomer, one of four Israeli soldiers posted on the roof of a Palestinian home in Gaza, after one of their comrades has been killed in the neighbourhood.
