The man of your dreams is back in Date Night with Freddy Krueger, a new comedy sketch from New York-based Sea Shelves Productions.

The first time tends to get a little messy in the three-minute short below.

Michael Leavy, who played Will the exterminator in the first Terrifier and went on to produce the sequels, dons the iconic glove and sweater as the Springwood slasher.

Sea Shelves’ Dominick Muschello, who worked on and appeared as an extra in Terrifier 2 and Terrifier 3, rocks the Johnny Depp crop top as Freddy’s catfishing victim.

Exclusive: Steve Small and Gwen Osborne have today announced the launch of Convergence Entertainment Group, their new film production and financing company based in Los Angeles.

From the Laid to Rest films to Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Thomas Dekker has played a plethora of memorable roles in the horror and sci-fi genres. His performance in Robert Hall’s Fear Clinic is no exception—in his third collaboration with director Hall, Dekker turns in a fascinating performance as Blake, a young man suffering from brain damage and Ptsd after surviving a madman’s public shooting spree.

With Fear Clinic now available on Blu-ray and DVD from Anchor Bay, we caught up with the Dekker to discuss bringing Blake to life in non-vocal ways, his character’s chilling backstory, working with the legendary Robert Englund, facing his own fear during filming, and much more.

What were the challenges of realistically portraying a character with brain damage and Ptsd? Did digging into that role require any in-depth research?

Thomas Dekker: I have to give a lot of credit to Rob Hall.

As dream stalker Freddy Krueger in eight A Nightmare on Elm Street feature films and two seasons of Freddy’s Nightmares, Robert Englund expertly exploited people’s fears before adding yet another Elm Street notch to his kill list. But as Dr. Andover in Robert Hall’s 2009 Fear Clinic web series, Englund played a character with benevolent traits opposite of Krueger’s malevolent methods. Dr. Andover helped patients conquer their fears by having them face their personalized horrors in hallucinatory, dream-like states induced by his innovative Fear Chamber.
