Chastity Bites DVD Release Details: “Grand Entertainment Group (Geg) wants You to celebrate “Women in Horror” month this February with the DVD release of Chastity Bites on February 11. CineMayhem Film Festival Announced: “Created as a way to pay homage to and celebrate the spirit of independent filmmaking and those unafraid to take risks with their storytelling, CineMayhem’s diverse line-up includes advanced screenings of two highly anticipated genre projects including Magnet Releasing’s visceral horror anthology The ABC’s Of Death and Breaking Glass Pictures’ mindbending drama K-11 directed by Jules Stewart (Crank: High Voltage, Mortal Kombat).

CineMayhem is also thrilled to announce that it will also be hosting the World Premieres of Roadside directed by Eric England (Madison County) and the latest short film from Ryan Spindell...

The second full length episode of zombie web series Chronicles of the Dead is now available, and we have it in its entirety right here. It's an horrific 24-minute piece that can best be described as a mini-movie.

"Apocalypse Part 2" is directed by Brian Hernandez, written by Hernandez and Younger Robbins, and produced by Erin Cathcart, Robbins, and Hernandez. It stars Moneer Yaqubi, Julia Lehman, Lyndsey Doolen, Brenda Koo, Valenzia Algarin, Aaron Leddick, and Ryan Hannah King.

It's been a while since we've heard anything about Chronicles of the Dead, but that's about to change with the release of the zombie web series' third teaser and news of a special treat coming on Halloween.

The series' production company, 3N Films, tells us that they will release a "scary as hell, nighttime zombie apocalypse-driven episode on October 31st" so be sure to check back then to watch it.

They also provided a few quotes from directors who have themselves directed zombie films:

The folks at 3N Films sent over a few new stills, a behind-the-scenes video, and an update on their web series Chronicles of the Dead, directed by Brian Hernandez, who co-wrote it with Younger Robbins.

The film stars Erin Cathcart, Justin Braun, and Jenna Johnson along with both Hernandez and Robbins.

Synopsis

Chronicles of the Dead documents the experiences of several friends who are caught off guard by a zombie apocalypse. Using their film and literary zombie knowledge, this tight-knit group do what they can to survive in this gruesome nightmare of a world.

Hernandez and Robbins report, "We are in the process of producing an additional episode to be shot in the next month. This episode's setting will be in the night during the zombie apocalypse, and our goal is to deliver frightening and atmospheric visuals."
