The concept of this show is derived from the podcast called Tell Em' Steve Dave. It stars Bryan Johnson, Walt Flanagan , and Brian Quinn
During production of season one the show was referred to as Secret Stash.
On June 24th, 2018, Kevin Smith confirmed that the show has been cancelled.
Over the 7 year run of the show many iconic vehicle have shown up.
They are the Batmobile(66) twice, Black beauty(from green hornet), The Batcycle, The Batchopper, K.I.T.T, The General Lee(Dukes of Hazard), The Bat Boat, The Gran Torano(Starsky and Hutch),
AMC asked Kevin Smith to call the show Comic Men in an homage to Mad Men (2007) as seen on The IMDb Show (2017). As revealed on Tales behind the fake counter, Bryan suggested they call it Comic Book Men. They filmed at least the first two openings with Kevin Smith calling it Comic Men and they had to cut away and ADR him saying Comic Book Men.
