The Little Ghost lives in the castle over looking a small town and awakens for precisely one hour after the clock strikes midnight. Follow him on this adventure to see his first sunrise ever!

A juvenile ghost haunts the mountain-pitched castle overlooking sleepy medieval German town Eulenburg ('owl burgh'), one hour after every midnight for centuries, without aging or interacting with people as it's closed at night. However repairs at the clock tower result in the ghost becoming visible, black and active all day. Shy schoolboy Karl gets in trouble for telling the truth as nobody believes the antique watch that disappeared from the castle during his class's visit was stolen by a ghost, so he's the prime suspect. Many town-folk get scary meetings before the case is cleared and the ghost's condition normalized through the clock that upset him.—KGF Vissers

The Little Ghost lives in the castle of Eulenstein. It awakens for precisely one hour after the clock strikes midnight. Despite the warnings of a friend, Mr. Uhu Schuhu, the ghost would like to see the world by daylight once.

Meanwhile, Karl, Hannes and Sophie go on a nightly excursion to the castle, where they have their first encounter with the ghost.

The following day, the ghost wakes up at twelve o'clock - noontime. Its joy about this soon passes, as - discolored black by the first sunray - it scares the town's inhabitants and causes a commotion. Chased by the police, the ghost asks the children for help.
