Robert Keiths portrayal of Lucien Maxwell is without question one of the most accurate ever seen, he truly embraced the character. There are some amusing scenes such as Garret taking aim at Philippine water buffalo and a sheriff's badge upgrade mid movie, However the strong performances and set design helped to immerse. You into the story, I need to add that the demonstrations of historically accurate horsemanship were exceptional. Tiffany Mac Donald really brought to life the allure and irresistible attraction that only a frontier women and natural charms of womanhood can, I felt weak with lust viewing her. This film is worth the watch because true compelling storytelling is delivered by a cast worthy of their performance and skill level.

A lot of twists and turns, setting seemed real, looked like a Sergio Leone film, especially with that cool music! Easy to follow, the Kid looked great, hated to see.... don't want to give that away! Cool picture! Writing seemed to go along pretty much with the real story, but a couple times I got a little lost. Deputy was funny, the jail scene was fun to watch. It really had a sense of an old spaghetti western. Would have like to have seen more of the Kid, but it was about those who betrayed him, not really about him. Would have liked to have seen this on the Big Screen, with Big Sound and some popcorn!
