Truth & Treason

I really liked this movie though the pacing was a little slow. The actors did a great job. If this was low budget it didn't seem like it. One thing that was a bit off was all the actors had British accents even though they are supposed to be in Germany. I wonder why they didn't try to use German accents. I liked that they showed images of the real boys that the film is about.

I will recommend this film to all my friends and I will certainly be watching it again. It held my interest and I didn't check my watch one time. One of the best films to come out of Angel Studios. Please go to the theater to watch it, it is a value for your time and money. Our group ages were 21 to 70.

Enjoyed the acting, camera work, script, and score. I thought the characters were very believable, and particularly liked the fact that all Germans were not portrayed as two dimensional thugs; even member of the party. Many will probably find the slow pace and subject matter not to their taste, but I think 85% of people will enjoy this movie very much. Though not overly violent, I feel it is still too harsh and emotional for small children.

I first read about Helmuth Hübener when I read "The Boy Who Dared" book by Susan Campbell Bartoletti. This was 16 yrs ago, and it encouraged me to go into Holocaust studies and learn about the Nazi regime.

This movie did a wonderful job at portraying this incredible story of courage. The acting was amazing and moving.

I felt encouraged, emotional and thankful for people like Helmuth, Rudy and Karl who aren't afraid to stand for truth.

THIS IS A MUST SEE!

I didn't know what to expect with this movie but wow was I blown away by the amazing cinematography, acting, and overall storytelling. It tells the story of a boy in Nazi Germany who discovers Germany is on the wrong side of the war and chooses to do something about it. It's inspiring and incredible, and just very well done. It's so relevant for everything that is going on in the world right now.

Everything Angel puts out just gets better and better. I'm so impressed by the quality of their movies and the quality of their storytelling.
