This 4 out of 10 is only for Parth Samthaan. He is a fabulous actor. His acting skill is great which needs to be used in more good story not like this film. We have seen his works before which was far better than this.
Khushali kumars acting was so bad that you can say, she is actually doing an act. Her fake acting is visible even in trailer, also her looks in film is not suitable for her character. Of course It's her family production house t series. So she wear whatever she wants why blame the costume designer. Parth and khushali pair looks so unmatched and weird.
They don't look like a couple, they actually look like siblings or cousins.
And the senior characters like Sanjay dutt, Raveena tandon they also don't justice their characters actually the main fault is in director. He couldn't bring out their inner acting.

This movie is a waste of your precious time. Period. Right from acting to direction, dialogues, humour, everything is bland. There is simply no chemistry between the lead actor and actress. In fact the lead actress looks old in front of the lead actor. The acting is pathetic. Even sanjay and raveena couldnt save this film. Seems like both of them did this film only for money. The lead actress and raveena look like sisters instead of mother and daughter. Even the dialogue delivery is so lame. Looks like the dubbing didnt go well. Sanjay datt looks tired throught the movie. Avoid this movie pliz.

When you pick a movie based solely on the cast and poster, you're often bound to be disappointed, and this time was no different.
It's a family tale where a son falls in love with a girl, and, as fate would have it, his father falls in love with that same girl's mother. The question is, whose love story will get a happy ending?
The plot is as cliché as it gets. A similar thread was recently seen in Luv Ki Arranged Marriage, and this kind of story has been explored in many films before. However, the execution isn't all that bad. The drawback is that you know exactly where it's heading.
Parth Samthaan is decent and fits the role. Sanjay Dutt, in his usual element, works in favor of the movie. The best part of the film is Raveena R Tandon-she looks stunning, hasn't aged a day, and her performance is, as always, solid. On the other hand, the other female lead, Khushali Kumar, fails to act well and looks plastic. It's clear that she has undergone numerous facial surgeries, which make her appearance jarring to watch. Aruna Irani is decent in her role.
The comedy falls flat due to poor writing. The characters are also poorly written, making the film feel outdated. Even the suspense or twist, you can guess it in seconds. The songs are forgettable and skippable except Punjabi Munde. The cinematography is decent, offering a visually appealing experience overall.
Watch it if you're in the mood for a lighthearted drama and are a fan of the cast. Otherwise, you're not missing out on anything remarkable.

Films hero Parth is okay .
Raveena Looks gorgeous , however on acting front she is strictly average . Sanjay Dutt and Aruna Irani are wasted.
Better screen play and Story can be written by a school boy .
The only good thing is the running time . The story doesn't drag and toward the climax writer very conveniently make twist for happy ending
Direction : Poor Acting : Poor - Average Story , Screenplay : poor Music : one song was good ( although can't recollect the lines )
Overall it looks like , the main focus was to launch some desi designer clothes .
Feel bad for Raveena and Sanjay . They need to select good scripts and work with better directors.

Disappointing movie. Such a pathetic dialogue writing and story telling with no relevance to current time. It was a cringe fest especially where romance with young cast is shown and the scenes of family get together or party. Ravvena and Sanjay Dutt's "presence could bot save the plot unfortunately. Emotional scenes in the movie did not connect to make an impact, instead felt forced and unconvincing. Songs were good. Lead actor did well in songs.
Writers and directors should focus on making scripts that are intelligent and the ones that make minimum sense. Any sort of emo one flawed big time!!

Entertaining movie, no unnecessary heavy action scenes, light hearted storyline. The only thing I didn't like was the lead couple, there was no chemistry between them, the pair didn't fit together, some other actress might have fitted the character better. It's different from the movies that are releasing nowadays like heavy action movies, so many biographies, remakes and all. Sanjay Dutt and Raveena's couple was much better than the younger ones. Parth acted very well and was a perfect fit for the character, the movie could have been much better if there was some other actress than Khushali. The party song was very catchy. Overall, the movie is worth one time watch.

After a very long time, a clean family entertaining movie I have watched with my family without any embarrassment. This movie has conveyed the message of importance of love and acceptance of love that happens at any age. Sanjay Dutt and Raveena played their part quite well. It's the debut movie for the young hero Parth Samthaan. He aced both comic and emotional scenes. He has more potential and love to watch him in more movies exploring different genres. His screw presence is good. I loved the scenes between him and the legendary Aruna Irani. Director Binoy's first movie and he needs to be appreciated for giving us a thorough family movie. The music is one of the strengths of this movie. I liked all the songs wall the energetic performance of Parth in punjabi Munda song.

The movie conveys a strong message in a subtle way..the plot is entertaining, the movie challenges stereotypes and unfounded ideologies gracefully; the cast is convincing; Parth Samthaan has a great comic timing, diction and intonation ; the film shows interpersonal relationships across three generations and the chasm in their thoughts and perspectives. A good family entertainer. Parth delivers a praiseworthy performance, doesn't seem like his debut. His chemistry with Khushali is also natural. Sanjay Dutt and Ravina make a geeat pair . Parth's screen presence is strong and he looks charismatic . A great choice for a good weekend watch.

After a long time, indeed a pure Bollywood masala. The exact amount of drama, the spot on and clean execution of the screenplay, must be appreciated. Parth Samthaan's prominent performance did outshine the known names. His emotional scenes looked so real, bringing the raw emotions at bay. As each scene unfolds the actor's brilliance and versatility would make the audience go through a rollercoaster of emotions. Transition from a light hearted laughter to the anguish of heartbreak and desperation would make you root for the movie. Parth's unwavering commitment towards the role Chirag spoke volumes about his dedication. Hope this boy gets his due recognition.

It's old typical Bollywood family story. Story about family values. Movie story is very predictable so you get idea what will happen next but I feels not a boring movie its a good family movie and good to see you both raveena tondon and sanjay dutt together after Kgf. I want to see sanjay dutt in action movie I hope will see soon.

Ghudchadi is a feel good movie , which has blended old school romance with modern day concept of love beautifully. Looking at flawless acting of parth samthaan its hard to digest that its his debut movie. Khushali is looking older than parth and doesn't look his age. Sanjay dutt and raveena tandon looked perfect with each other. Songs of the movie are exceptionally good especially punjabi munde and dil vasda. After very long time i have watched a movie with my parents and enjoyed it thoroughly, it does not contain vulgarity and cheap humour in the name of modernity. I hope makers arrange a screening of movie in Delhi, i would love to watch it in theatre . Hoping to see many more projects of parth samthaan with different actors .

Really Loved the film. It was very entertaining and The movie was an overall package with entertainment, good songs, good acting, amazing cast and funny dialogues.
Also who could say that it was Parth Samthaan's first film. The dialogue delivery along with his expressions and comic timings was commendable. His screen presence was very charming and the bond between him, dadi and sanjay sir felt very natural.
Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt chemistry was very cute and reminded of the old days back in the time.
The cast looked beautiful together and the punjabi munde song is a full party song..

If you search the internet you will find very few positive reviews of Ghudchadi. The makers obviously have not made the critics happy :)
Fact is, whether you accept it or not, audiences and critics in India are alike in more ways than one. If one movie is eulogized, it will be praised as if it is flawless. Conversely, if a movie is pulled down, then it is like there are no positives in the movie. The truth is, all Indian movies have flaws. It is about looking at the positive aspects, sans a bias.
Another fact, neither Indian audiences nor Indian critics understand cinema in a real sense. The former look for cheap entertainment, and the latter look for ways to make a few quick bucks. As such, no movie is accurately rated. It is either overrated or underrated.
Coming to Ghudchadi, it is as good or as bad as any other Indian movie. Period.
The negative aspects first. The leading lady is cast for obvious reasons, and is the weakest link in the cast.
A veteran artist like Aruna Irani ji deserved a better written role. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
There is unnecessary melodrama, as is the norm in Indian movies, and that could have been easily done away with.
A few jokes fall flat. Most importantly, Ghudchadi is not exactly a comedy. Audience who watch is expecting more comic moments will be disappointed.
Now, lets move on to the good aspects.
Ghudchadi is more of a rom com, veering more towards a mature romance. An older generation romance is not a topic explored by Indian filmmakers.
Mostly, it is a 50-something actor romancing a girl good enough to be his daughter, or an older man - youger woman romance in the garb of a story. Besides, it is rare that they get a pairing right in Indian cinema.
On that count, Ghudchadi's older generation romance is impressively handled. It showcases a maturity that is a prerequisite for the age shown. There was a Rishi - Dimple movie that made caricature of this. Fortunately, Ghudchadi has a more mature plot.
Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt look impressive together. Paired opposite each other for the first time in 30 years - since Aatish (1994), considering Vijeta (1996) was a delayed release, and KGF 2 (2022) didn't have them sharing screen space - take off from where they left three decades ago. Theirs is sizzling chemistry.
The few people who have watched EMI (2008) will agree that the Dutt and Urmila angle, though short, was a decent example of a matured romance in Indian cinema, devoid of the usual. As was Dutt and Aishwarya in Shabd (2005). Ghudchadi takes this maturity to a different level altogether.
The fact that both Dutt and Raveena act well adds to overall appeal of the story. Ghudchadi is about their chemistry.
Raveena has honed her craft well in recent years, a far cry from the time when she was part of every movie and was slotted as an item girl. Likewise, it is nice to see Dutt in anything that breaks the stereotype surounding his persona. South cinema is pedestrian, and cannot utilize him as anything but the villain, and up north they don't look beyond the Khans and the others who have a good PR team.
Dutt can be held responsible for being too careless and disinterested, but give him a good role and he delivers. Toolsidas Junior was an underrated effort. Had any other actor played the part, he should have won the National Award. To give credit where it is due, despite not being a smart human being, Dutt has displayed a unique diversity when it comes to character portrayals.
Parth Samthan is good and energetic. I also liked that his Chirag didn't get into a direct conflict with his father, as is the case with most Indian movies. Instead, he was not disrespectful but silent. I believe, as per Indian culture that is often harped about, giving a silent treatment when you differ is a best way to showcase a father-son, or mother-son, father-daughter conflict. It is both mature and classy. In Dutt's last movie, Leo, the divine hero killed his father to absolve himself of all the sins. If anyone deserved to die in that movie, it was Leo himself. Then, that was a South Indian movie where the Hero is God.
Getting back to Ghudchadi, Parth's pairing with the actress doesn't work. She looks a lot older than him. In fact, the younger generation romance is not a patch on the older generation. The latter is like vintage wine, where every sip needs to be savored.
Raveena and Dutt grab your attention every time they appear on screen. It is sad that Bollywood has failed to utilize such a wonderful pair properly.
Considering it has released directly on OTT, it can be watched as per convenience. Ghudchadi is a good watch, especially for the vintage pairing of Dutt and Raveena.

It's a breezy romance streaming on jio cinema directed by Binoy Gandhi. It's a rectangle love story where it deals with two different generations falling in love. A family movie where Sanjay and Raveena played their part well. The young hero Parth Samthaan played his character very well and he slayed all the emotions quite well. He has a quite promising role and a young talent. Aruna Irani played her character well. I loved all the songs . The other casts supported the main characters. After a long time ,watched this movie with my family. They too enjoyed it thoroughly. Even now ppl are so into caste when it comes to marriage. This movie address the issue.

The movie from beginning to end was entertaining! Parth's debut looked so fresh onscreen. He literally carried the movie so well! Loved his comic timing and dialogue delivery! Sanjay Dutt and Aruna Irani's role was also entertaining. The styling department could've worked better. The story had a message which I think reached the audience pretty well. The script was interesting and the story was something new. The songs are so catchy! Punjabi Munde is a whole party vibe which is stuck in my head. Dil vasda is such a slow romantic song with such
beautiful lyrics. I have been listening to the songs on loop!! Best wishes to the entire team <3.

This movie makes your heart happy watching the cute and comic situations, the Heartwarming Family relationships, the flowering romance between the 2 Lead Pairs.
The Story comes with great messages between young and older generations and is definitely a must watch movie with great soulful music and dance !!
USP of the Movie is Parth Samthaan aka Chirag Sharma who held his own acting alongside Legend Actors Sanjay Dutt and Aruna Irani. Chirag Sharma is the absolute perfect Sweet and Smart Delhi Boy with loads of typical Delhi Boy Charm !!!
Khushali and Parth look good together.
Debut project for both Parth and Binnoy and they both delivered great work. Parth proves his worth once again that he has Stellar Screen Presence and Acting is in his DNA.
Parth, we looove your version of Chirag Sharma, you performed exceptionally well with soo much of ease in every frame it doesn't look like Your doing Movies for the first time.
And definitely because Acting is in your Blood, Parth.....we laughed and cried with you especially your emotional scenes are the best. No one does Romance they way you depict your emotions...being King of Expressions! Master in this Craft !!!
Ghudchadi - a soft family story scripted well for a Debut launch by Deepak Bharadwaj the Writer.
Summary: Parth aka Chirag USP - Dream Debut Perfect Refreshing Family Entertainer.
