a legacy

Food , a tough chef, a young , well prepaired cook with Chiness roots and the spirit of dead.

A seductive mix, especiially for an Eastern like me , for which the offrands for the souls of the repaused loved ones is a duty.

And the film offers aa good job.

A mix of tense and rythm in a kitchen, pressure and an abussive boss, a young woman ignoring the advise of cook and a sad news from family member.

Inspired cinematography and smart crafted tension.

The end is not bad at whole, reminding a form of legacy not easy assumed but offering a high purpose to a young woman for who the gifts, the secret knowledge of her grandmother becomes, after venerable lady rest, one of her been.
