The scene where Flappie the parrot grows big is very similar to the first Japanese Shimajiro film in 2013 called Shimajiro and Fufu's Big Adventure 2013 where Flappie also grows big and where they are on a quest to save the flowers from dying.
This is the second Shimajiro film also known as Qiaohu to be in CGI animation and also the second Shimajiro film to be released in China as Qiaohu.
