A television adaptation of the theatre play "Veronika", written by Johan Bargum. The play premiered in February 3, 1979 at Lilla Teatern in Helsinki. Both the play and the television film are directed by Veli-Matti Saikkonen, also featuring art director Georg Sikow. Previously Saikkonen and Bargum collaborated in a theatre play "Hemma igen" (Finnish: Jälleen kotona), premiere in April 25, 1975 at Lilla Teatern.
