Arnout sets out with his friends Ruben and Philippe on a 500km trek across Belgium. They follow the GR 129 trail, from Bruges to Arlon. It is the longest signposted hiking trail in Belgium.

Arnout crosses the language border and soon finds himself in the Pairi Daiza zoo. The park is built on the ruins of an old abbey with a dark past.

In the beautiful valley of the Molignée, Arnout, Ruben and Philippe are guests of the Maredsous fathers. They live in an abbey reminiscent of the Middle Ages, but not built until the end of the 19th century.

In Herbeumont, Arnout, Ruben and Philippe camp on the banks of the Semois river. Near Orval Abbey, they arrive in the Gaume region, a beautiful wooded area with its own microclimate.
