The voice change is waffles is extremely off putting. My kid loves waffles and mochi and we watch it almost everyday. I was really excited for the new eps. Pop it on and was taken aback by waffles' voice. It's just not waffles and doesn't have the same charm as the last voice. It feels like a very different character and one that I am personally not willing to sit through. So I guess I'll just keep on watching the old episodes over and over and over again and so I've having to sit through listening to this new annoying voice. Because when it comes down to it I am the one that is going to have to sit through this day in day out and I just can't do it.

I wanted to preview the show before I sat my four and eight year olds to watch it and accidentally binge-watched the entire thing! I think they're gonna love it and I guess I'll have to watch it again!

I liked the diverse cast and menu even as they worked with classic ingredients. It also just comes off as very joyful and kind and I know it's going to make my kids laugh. There are cute animations and very short songs that should get them off the couch as well but they aren't so long that they take over the entire episode. My only complaint is that the season is so short so I hope Netflix hurries up and makes more episodes!
