    Fake and stupid.

Trying to cash in on the success of other fake reality shows like American Pickers,Storage Wars and Pawn Stars, A&E created this pile of garbage hoping the masses would eat it up.The main recurring theme is that they show up to barter and the product isn't what they thought it was. These fools make their living by answering Craig's List ads and they never once asked questions or asked for a picture. They just immediately go to the person.I have only used CL 3 times to sell things. All 3 times I included multiple pictures and detailed descriptions. All 3 times I got tons of emails asking for more pictures and details. But these guys never thought of it once? Weak. The second recurring theme is that the one guy has Tourette's syndrome and it only kicks in at the worst possible times.Weaker.Not content to just be fake and suck, they added a Danielle Colby clone in the second season, Kendall-Leigh Neuner.Just like Danielle, everything Kendall-Leigh said was scripted. She played the Danielle part perfectly, holding together a business while actually being completely useless. This is a show that should never be seen.

    Really miss this show

No mater how fake or real reality TV is this show is entertaining and I really miss it. It was fun to watch and did gave some real world tips on bartering. They were very forward about the fact that it was much harder than what it looked on the show as there are far more failed barters than successful. Some of the other reviews i saw here are very critical but if you don't like reality TV don't watch it. It does not matter if it looks similar to another show it was different.

Might be scripted but I find it entertaining

For one. Though they don't show the leg work of their C. L. searches/research of items. That doesn't mean that they don't do it. But if they added every aspect of the deals the show would be more like 2 to 3 hrs per episode. So why even put the C. L. process in show?

2.) Learned lots of trading tips. And ways to approach potential clients. Just gotta look passed all the hijinks

We all know that most 'reality' tv. Is scripted. And if you don't like them simply don't watch them.

    More like Kings'

I'm just going to list everything wrong with the show as it'll be easier to read.
    • Completely fake show. All staged, including interactions with the people they "trade" with, which leads to:
    • terrible acting from all of the characters. I question the authenticity of the lead guy who has ticks (I'm happy to be proven wrong but if they are fake just for tv drama then it's just insulting to those who do).
    • clearly they can't trade things to just keep giving them to their families and/or not sell, their pawn shop side of the business is probably more interesting.
    • both male leads are boring beef heads with such stale personalities and due to this, they were told to bring in the "tattooed chick" which is just a copy from 'American Pickers' which was then copied by 'Pawn Stars' too! Can A&E change a formula? (BTW, I quite like tattooed girls yeah!)
    • the show is boring in general and unbelievable that these guys don't do any form of research before driving the distances they do for items. The show really pushes using 'Craig's List', clearly when you call about the item, you can ask questions about it! It just defies logic and kind of means that they believe the viewers won't care and are just stupid drones.
    • the items aren't as interesting as on the shows I mentioned above. They occasionally get items worth 10k but that's about it, nothing like 100k plus which would be cool as that's what viewers want to see.
    • Because they're mostly dealing with junk, there's very little history to the items which I think a lot of viewers like to see and learn about.

I've got more but that will do. Thankfully the show was canned so don't bother watching this.

    chisellers

I've done a fair bit of buying/selling & trading but if these two dimwits came to my house & started dribbling their hokum bs spiel trying to trade some piece of crap worth $20,passing it off as being worth $350 while I've something worth $7-800,I'd be releasing the hounds to start with then I'd be considering the 12 gauge.I know its set up but using condescension & total bs to bamboozle & goad people into making stupid decisions isnt ethical or pleasant to watch.Terrible load of crud
