If you really can't take anymore of Elmo, or if you need little of him, this is the DVD! Your child will be ADDICTED to this DVD. Benny's a lot like me! The crows song, number 5 five, and the cheek to cheek parody about number 7 are VERY catchy!
I was in love with this DVD when I was a toddler! Nearly everything in this DVD will blow you away!

I decided on this dvd after reading the 5 star reviews. I'm happy with the choice. It's educational, fun and entertaining. My granddaughter stops to look and listen when she hears several songs, rock around the clock, Elmo rapping the #5 song, tap-dancing about the seven goldfish and the crows singing.I'm sure as she gets older this be one of her favorite DVDS. I usually play it twice back to back because I enjoy her smiles when she reacts to the songs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DVD!

Who cares if Benny's too grouchy?! This is the number #1 Sesame Street DVD in the entire country! No other Sesame Street DVD can beat this! You'll be blown away by how catchy some of the mini kid songs are!
This is the second time we have bought this movie. Our toddlers have all loved it and it keeps them entertained on car rides.
Be prepared to have the songs stuck in your head...

Sure, Ernie unintentional annoys Benny, but it has a nice story line, and really teaches the numbers -- I started dancing when I hears the title song sung by Ernie. Lots of the songs are pretty good, and definitely stick in your head. The great thing is that Elmo has only a small bit (but the five jive rap and seven goldfish are the bomb), and this video has firmly lodged Ernie as his absolute favorite Sesame Street Character!!! He talks about tubby time and bath(not on this DVD though), and has learned some numbers (I think :-)) I got a good laugh at Benny every time I watch it. It's a shame that he's not in the show anymore. he would be perfect fr some rated 13 tv show or movie.

I bought this for my seven month old on a whim as my wife and I were looking for some DVDs from the Baby Einstein video series. But after watching this, we are glad we made this purchase. The characters are great and, in typical Sesame Street fashion, are goofy as heck! Benny has to be our favorite character and I'm sorry some didn't take kindly to his easily irritated behavior - he definitely brings more humor to this already funny video. Think of him as a funnier (but different) Oscar (he doesn't want to be grouchy. he gets irritated easily). The songs are extremely catchy - I find myself humming them on my way to work (shh, don't tell anyone!). This has quickly become the most watched DVD in our home!
...and oh yeah, my kid really likes it too!

This DVD is nothing like the rest! Once you watch this, you'll be addicted to it like a junkie! (maybe not like a junkie, but you'll love it!) I highly recommend this DVD to your kids!

This DVD and most of the songs in it are as enjoyable as the ones from Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix! You'll love them!
No Sesame Street DVD has ever used a good variety of songs before. I like to use this DVD as parody of Vocaloid songs and Aikatsu Songs!

If you hate Elmo or need very little of him, this is the DVD! You be astounded by the character Sesame Street as created from the 90's. It's a shame that they don't use them anymore, but we loved them!

MY childhood! The songs, very little of Elmo, you name it! I can imagine how excited almost every parent was in this country. I mean, to get away from the Elmo-mania. This is the DVD you need, along with Big Bird's Favorite Party Games!
This Sesame Street home video is amazing! The plot is active, easygoing, and full of action! Benny has made a famous entrance! Elmo's puppeter sounds much more realistic as Benny! You will all love Ernie in this DVD! He's an amazing character with a beautiful way of teaching others how to count. I rate this sesame street home video 100/10! I wish they bring Benny back for another older movie like The Happytime Murders but for rated Pg-13 due to his easily-irritated behavior.
I highly recommend this! This DVD is so famous for having very little of Elmo during the Elmo-mania! If you don't want Elmo to have all the fame, I recommend this DVD! I love the seven goldfish parody, and the hilarious five jive mini-rap! As well as the crows song! If you watched this as a little kid, THIS will be your childhood!

This Sesame Street home video was absolutely amazing! I watched it from my youth. While this DVD was one of the few home video to not give all the fame to Elmo during the Elmo-mania. I had some laughing moments while watchinh. And boy let me tell you this DVD was fun. The home video itself was stuffed full of content and a lovable cast that actually made me laugh my butt off and the three songs, the crows song, five jive mini-rap and seven goldfish (parody of cheek to cheek) Those three were the best! Along with Benny the Rabbit!
Overall this DVD was amazing! I highly recomend this to parents who don't want their children to love Elmo!
I watched this home video when I was three and I gotta say; The complication video is extremely cool, with beautiful graphics, a modern look from the camera recording, many many forms of puppetry, secret areas in the Furry Arms Hotel, items and many more. Hardly any Elmo, Ernie's the superstar, Humphrey and Ingrid take the stage with Ernie. The music choices are cool. The five jive mini-rap is so hilarious , the actual puppet crows were so awesome, inserting that one song from the musical "A Chorus Line" is a brilliant choice. I saw a parody online where Vocaloid songs were used as a replacement.
But nothing is perfect, and this DVD is different. and not different at the same time in a very good way. Some people might say Benny's behavior isn't good for other children, but he's not like Oscar. He just get's easily-irritated unintentionally; Not like he wants to be angry all the time; He just misunderstands some things. He my favorite Sesame Street character. He's a superstar in the 90's. Benny deserves to come back, maybe not in Sesame Street, but in a rated pg-13 movie detective-like movie or in a Japanese anime as a cartoon character. He so deserves to come back.

123 Count with Me is awesome! A masterpiece on the 90's! it's worth the time you watch it. and dancing along, well, that is worth even more of your time.
Ernie, Humphrey, Ingrid, and Benny, take the plot and settings to the Furry Arms Hotel and take it from there. they teach us how to count up to 15, so that your child can know how to count pass 20. They use music in such a clean healthy way, such as the crows singing their three song, Elmo mimcing MC Hammer's persona, Elmo singing and tap-dancing to a number 7 parody of "Cheek to Cheek", inserting a 1 song from the musical "A Chorus Line", a mini-rap of number 11, Honking Around the Clock with the honkers, and finishing the video with a musical finale using clips from previous seasons and clips of other sesame street characters. along the way, they solve problems at the hotel using ways to count. and they try to figure the best ways and strageties on how to count (irritating Benny in the process about the hotel's Mr. Dinger)
this DVD is awesome, good, and just worth trying. but if you're a more up to date type, get The Backyardigans, or Project Diva X, Aikatsu Songs, the star fox crossover of Starlink, or Mario Kart Wii. all of them are great.

I love the home video so much, it is the best every time, and the character choices (other than Elmo), the designs and music choices!
