Several scenes were filmed at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, including the scenes of Brian walking out of the building to his car (filmed outside the hotel's Aspire Lobby), the hallway scenes with his neighbor Jason (filmed outside the Thirty Three Lounge), and the scenes in his apartment (filmed in one of the hotel's Royal Suites)

Early in the film, Kelsey Grammer asks another character if he's ever seen one of those science-fiction time-loop movies, and if so, how to get out of a time loop. In 1992, Grammer had a cameo in a "Star Trek: The Next Generation" episode in which he plays a Starship captain caught in a time loop for over 90 years.
