The Lions of the Great War memorial was unveiled in Smethwick, Birmingham in November 2018 as part of the centenary of the end of the war. Where the story begins. The monument was dedicated to commemorate the Sikh soldiers from the British Indian Army and Indian soldiers from all the sub-continents who came to aid Britain in the war efforts.
