- We wanted to make an adventure style film that pushed the boundaries of what could be accomplished in video production within a small budget. Since Star Wars is one of the biggest adventures in modern history in space, it seemed like a natural choice.
Threads of Destiny is a non-profit experimental movie, freely inspired by the universe of Star Wars. We don't have the rights to sell Star Wars. Lucasfilm has a long-standing policy of tolerating and even encouraging fanfilms, but they draw the line at selling fanfilms for profit.
