Threads of Destiny is a non-profit experimental movie, freely inspired by the universe of Star Wars. We don't have the rights to sell Star Wars. Lucasfilm has a long-standing policy of tolerating and even encouraging fanfilms, but they draw the line at selling fanfilms for profit.

We wanted to make an adventure style film that pushed the boundaries of what could be accomplished in video production within a small budget. Since Star Wars is one of the biggest adventures in modern history in space, it seemed like a natural choice.
