Some may find James's chat with John Conteh moderately uncomfortable, as Conteh uses the opportunity to deliver a series of well-rehearsed boxing anecdotes he'd used on the after-dinner circuit.

There's a certain contrived feel to the delivery, as Conteh keeps returning to his comic material despite interruptions and James trying to have a real chat with him, causing James to rely on what sounds like forced polite laughter, even vocalising the "ha ha" element of his response.
